like a lovesick puppy did proton sigh on about him, the gradual progression of the nature of their bond transforming him from shy and reserved about it all as he navigated foreign territory, to more and more forthright as he comfortably settled into this new part of life.
frankly, sakaki would have preferred he kept it quiet and to himself, remained sheepish about discussing it all, especially in moments such as this, where proton dreamily tried to figure out the beginning and end of his infatuation.
