I’ve been doing a summer research program at a different school, and I think what’s struck me the most about it is how nice and encouraging the people I work with are. The postdoc I’m working with trusts me to do different tasks on my own. The PI told me I’m doing a fantastic job. The PhD students are relaxed and enthusiastic. It’s just a totally different environment and one that I’m honestly impressed with!
