Sunday: Sunday was a super chill day of watching baseball and rehearsal. My showcase scene partner Julia and I spent the day rehearsing for our rehearsal that night. Monday: After a good run around Runyan Canyon in the morning I got back to work on my scene. Julia and I performed our scene for our teacher that night for the first time. Solid reviews and great notes were given. It was definitely a good first run but was clear more ground work needed to be done. After the showcase rehearsal, everyone was going to West Hollywood to see a drag show. A lot of my friends are into it, so, to be honest, I was rather interested. It was honestly impressive as hell. I could not believe these girls were actually guys. I appreciated the work they put in, plus supposedly a lot of famous drag queens were there; so it was cool to see my friend meet some of their favorite celebrities. Some guy asked me if one of the drag queens looked like Rupaul (most famous drag queen). I said sorry I have no idea what he looks like. He responded with “Are you even gay?” I said “No” and we both laughed. Tuesday: Tuesday was a good day. After the gym, I went to do background work on my character for the showcase. Luckily for me, and unfortunate for the coffee shop bathroom, the coffee shop faces a chipotle. I had a great afternoon working on my scene. Wednesday: We had a rematch with the other guy's apartment in sand volleyball. We added my friend Maddrey to our time, and they added Julia. The games were a lot closer, and we put up a better fight than last time. AKA we still got worked. We lost that best of 7 series 4-1. So unlucky. A plethora of balls just didn’t go our way at all. After the game, Jake and I hit the gym and grabbed some Poke after that. Thursday: Thursday was a super chill day. We had another casting director meeting scheduled for Saturday, where we were assigned scenes. My partner, ironically, was Julia. We were assigned a scene from the TV show West Wing. After working on that for a while, Jake and I hit the gym and grabbed some poke. Thursday ended up being a late night as we hung out at our apartment chilling and talking. The girl across the hall is having roommate drama, so she keeps rolling through to keep us updated. I feel bad that something is wrong in her apartment, but I’m over the situation. Sue me. Friday: Friday was an awesome day. On a sour note, however, my stomach has been really messed up again. I think I have a damn stomach ulcer. It hurts like shit. No pun intended in case you saw an opportunity for a pun. Friday night my friend Berman came into town. He lives in Beverly Hills and he invited me to his house for Shabbat. It was really great meeting his family and hanging out with him. He’s a super funny dude who has been one of my closer friends since I’ve been in college. Saturday: Saturday’s are for the boys, or for class depending on how you look at it. We had showcase rehearsal from 10-1. Julia and I did really well. We also have to do a direct address about ourselves in front of the audience. I’m gonna talk about me being a wild child and birthright should be fun. After rehearsal, we had the meeting with the casting director. Julia and I rocked the shit out of that scene, it was awesome. That night the squad got together and went out to Silverlake, to this bar called Satellite it’s a lot of fun. Well, that was my week. Week damn oops haha. Much love, thanks for reading, stay sort of classy.
