Nov 3 - Favorite part from the last episode

After watching the episode 4 times, I can say:

The end credits.

Since some days ago I started thinking: Are they gonna parody the ending credits from the SUMO game with the photos of every character? And well, the anime for sure give us something similar, showing every character with some pictures, and I’m happy with this.

But also! Watching ‘Team Mom’ Mallow saying good bye to every one of her friends, and even sending Shaymin off... This is the part that actually make me cry. Mallow care a lot for her friends, but now she is going to be only with her family for some time... Hope everyone return soon to give her some company! (well everyone except Ash since idk when is he going to visit Alola again).

Yep, the end credits were my favorite.

She totally counts, right? I love how protective she is of TR since the episode she met them, making sure they don’t get into trouble or blast off if she can help it. I wish she could follow TR outside Alola because who will take care of them if she doesn’t? Her role is quite unique compared to the other TR mons and tbh, I’m very happy we got to meet her.

Oct 30 - Favorite Arc - Alola League

Pokémon Sun and Moon Appreciation Week Day 4: Favourite Arc

I don’t know if this arc has an official name, but I just refer to it as the Nebby arc (episodes 44-54)

To start off with, I was of course happy to see Nebby again in the anime - and it was cool that even with Ash being the one taking care of them, they still had that connection to Lillie with her being the one to name them ^^ And I love how Solgaleo wasn’t suddenly super serious or anything - they’re still Nebby! Just how they should be!

This arc is when we started to see a lot of development from Lillie. It’s when she first started to realise that something had happened to make her fear Pokémon, and is when she finally overcame that trauma and then later on stood up to her mother in a way almost as powerful as in the games. 

Similarly, at this point we’d barely seen anything of Gladion until this arc, so it was cool to learn more about him and see Type:Null/Silvally (also it was the start of Lycanroc’s whole anger thing so there’s a little bonus).

The episodes in Ultra Space were awesome too, with everyone battling together with each other’s Pokémon and Ash and Pikachu pulling off that special Z-Move!

So much happened within the span of 10 episodes and most of it barely felt rushed at all, it was really well done (at least in my opinion)!

Honourable mention to the Necrozma Arc since that almost ended up taking this post instead

Pocket Monsters Sun & Moon: Appreciation Week, Day 2: Your favorite characters

“Gladion”

He’s my favorite character in the game and in the anime. Slightly different but still the same awesome character development!!

Every episode he was in I enjoyed small moments of how he grew, from avoiding everybody, to smiling at his sister, to join Ash and his friends , to him laughing at th amazing finals of the Alola Pokémon league. This battle also meant so much to me, because of not only Ash grow, but also Gladions development since day 1.

I love this edgelord eo much!

And seeing him together with his family heading out for an adventure of his own, is so heartwarming for me.

I’ll miss him so much.

But that is also giving me hope on seeing him again, since he still has to find his father.

P.s. Seeing him in his new ‘non-edgy’ outfit is also such a nice detail to his character, now that his journey to finish the island challenge is over, too.

He looks so cool, adorable and handsome in it, I just had to make this:

Fourth Opening: Kimi no Boken/Your Adventure - Taiiku Okazaki

I loved this song the moment I heard it, and the opening animation is just the most gorgeus thing I’ve seen. Future/Mirai Connection a close second!
