“Strange. I didn’t think I’d see you here!”
Rowlets certainly weren’t a Pokémon that often traveled the wilds. Especially not in this world, where there didn’t really seem to be any wild Pokémon.
Just from what he recalled in Hisui, however, the small flying type only seemed to show up in the strange Space-Time Distortions that still popped up every now and again across the region. Never once had he stepped inside of one, but he had certainly seen all sorts of strange Pokémon roaming around within. Ones that felt more...familiar, than others he had seen across the region.
But he had also seen a Rowlet traveling alongside Professor Laventon, and then later the child who fell from the sky. They seemed relatively calm compared to most of the Pokémon in Hisui, so he felt no fear in approaching it and carefully lifting it off the ground when it flapped its wings at him, as if it wanted to be higher up.
“Are you lost?”

Crow was missing Carmen and her strange little order in restaurant. He’d eaten at lots of restaurants in the different sections of Spirale, but hadn’t found anything that reminded him of home. He heard through the grapevine about a place in Archimedes Ward called the Star Trail that had food from all over the place; he was hoping he could find something similar to the Chinese takeout they got back home all the time.
The street seemed to stretch on forever as he looked down the path. Dear lord, was he even going to be able to find anything? There were too many stalls to investigate; it was going to take him all day to find what he was looking for. Well, at least he wouldn’t go hungry...
Crow began his trek down the street; he was hoping he could sniff it out, but there were too many delicious and strong scents to pick out anything specific. There didn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to the set up of Star Trail; although he supposed that made sense considering there were allegedly people from entirely different worlds here.
After around 30 minutes of walking, he felt a bit demoralized. This was taking waaay too long to find something that even resembled New Sieg style Chinese food. Just as he was beginning to lose hope, he did see something that was familiar. A younger kid was holding a small box full of what appeared to be Hawaiian style malasadas.
Crow silently slid up next to them and peered over their shoulder to look into the box.
“Ooh, malasadas! Where did you get those? That’s some American food I can chow down on.”

✧*:・゚| AS much as Siebren enjoys dancing in the ballroom and showing off his remarkable good taste, he's not so straight laced as to not want to have a CHILDISH sense of fun. Mind trails back to his childhood, days often spent with fingers tapping against his knees and eyes wandering over his surroundings. Times where he'd much rather be off doing his own business than to stand around and LISTEN to others.
AND perhaps that is why he notices that the child seems BORED out of her mind on the dance floor.
❝HAVE you heard about the secret passageways? I am starting to think that it is a little unfair that they are being KEPT from us.❞

It felt like it had been so long.
Honestly, part of it felt like taking a big breath of air after being underwater for the first time. Another part of it felt...like it was cheating. But just for these few days - just as long as this castle was here - it would be okay to have a little fun like this...right?
Hifumi didn’t need to wear her jacket for this. That alone was...bizarre - she had almost wanted to bring it anyways. But she had hardly gotten to wear anything else, so...instead, she opted for a suit that was somewhat similar to one of her favorites back home. Black slacks, black button up, red tie, black jacket embellished with a red flower print.
He had worn it once, for his birthday, after convincing Doppo and Jakurai it would be totally fine to go splurge at an expensive restaurant as a treat.
And even if Doppo’s eyes nearly bulged out of his head when he saw the receipt...he was still kind enough to pay for part of it, even when Hifumi had insisted he didn’t need to.
( ...he missed them. He hoped they came back soon. )
But tonight...! Tonight was about trying to enjoy himself freely for the first time in nearly a decade, thanks to this mask.
And what better way to do that than with a friend he had managed to make here?
“Moon Drop!~” His voice came out bubbly and excited as he spotted the young Pokémon Trainer - he still didn’t really understand what that was - by the entrance of the castle, waving excitedly to them.
“Ready to go have some fun!?”

For everything that had happened to him in the past few days, suddenly showing up in an entirely new city in the middle of some sort of festival...
Well. Actually, it was still strange.
This is something Victor would probably enjoy - thus, it made it much easier for him to adjust. Or rather, something Victor would enjoy within certain limitations - those limitations being one Vincent Edgeworth was absent from the scenario. Naturally one would not be happy without the other present...but it seemed like they didn't have to worry about it.
I hope they get along fine without me, was a thought that popped into his mind, though was quickly followed by another. They're without me either way. Victor is without Vincent either way as well - so perhaps it's better to wish that he'll be alright.
Hm. This whole being dead yet still being alive thing would take some getting used to.
For now, Draco figured it'd be best to set his sights elsewhere. It seemed like one of the "activities" being hosted had promises of finding items from home. Maybe he could recover something useful or...even just a book to read in his downtime, since he no longer had use as a butler without Vincent present.
Though it seemed like he wasn't the only person with that thought in mind - one particular individual drawing his attention as they attempted to lug an entire rug on their own.
"Excuse me," he started walking over to the young teenager, a small smile on his face. "Might I help you with that? It looks a bit too large for one person to manage on their own."

A summer festival...
It had been a long time since Hifumi had attended one of these - it wasn’t exactly a good idea for him to go alone, and Doppo was always working which was, like, illegal - but the one here was so much...different! Than the ones back home! Especially for this time of year - you’d think you’d be seeing tanzaku streamers hanging around with wishes for the future scrawled across them.
Not a giant figure-8 floating above part of the city that looked like the Northern Lights, but was actually a skating rink if you got close enough. Oh well! At least it was exciting, and at least he had someone who was interested in joining him for the experience too.
“Sooo, Moon Drop, you ready to strap on some skates and go-go-go?!”
