Figuring out worldbuilding for the vampire diaries universe is frustrating because for a supernatural show there isn't actually all that much focus on how magic works. However, being also in the merlin fandom is fun because you can choose to pull on magic worldbuilding from that universe

#ace writes sometimes #JOML #ALoM verse #14: the trickster and the witch #chapter snippet #this is not the most exciting part of this chapter but i dont want to spoil whats really happening in this section #i think yall are gonna be a lil annoyed by some of the choices in 14 and 15 but im excited for them regardless #i am currently stuck on a scene in chapter 13 thats preventing my progress #and have started working on some of the scenes for what will be book five of this verse (yes i know i know)#i really should be packing up my house for moving out on tuesday but fuck i cannot focus on it #but i will say this section does partially address some of the concerns people first raised when i started this fic so theres that #and a lil kol pov we dont get those often idk if people actually like them but i think its important to the narrative sometimes #to understand whats happening on the other side of things particular when kol was there for the rest of it
