Yes, they would
No, they would not

Please reblog for larger sample size :)
Propaganda : They’re visually similar with an ice theme! the regional form seems appropriate because AlpenFury replaced another coaster called Volcano the Blast that had a fire theme 🌋
Commission I got from @/artistic._.gemini on Instagram of my OC Audrey (Alpenfury from Canada’s Wonderland) 💙🧡❄️🔥
Here’s some niche Canadian tea that happened today that I can’t stop fucking laughing at
So the biggest amusement park in canada is called Canada’s Wonderland, near Toronto, and it has some of the tallest and fastest roller coasters in the world. Today, they finally opened the newest rollercoaster, called Alpen Fury, which is not only the tallest, fastest, and longest launch roller coaster in Canada, but also broke the record for most inversions on a roller coaster (9).
Understandably, people have been hyped for a long time to try out Alpen Fury, especially since it was supposed to debut in the spring back when the park opened for the season, but was delayed until yesterday, July 12th.
Keep in mind that we are also in the middle of a record-breaking heat and humidity wave, which means it was 32 degrees Celsius, which is about 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Despite this, and despite the fact that since it’s an amusement park, Canada’s Wonderland has very little shade, people went and stood in line FOR SIX HOURS! FOR A RIDE THATS LESS RHAN 2 MINUTES! AND COMPLAINED!!!!
I genuinely can’t stop laughing about this bc who in their right mind would stand outside in the hot sun on a tarmac just to ride a rollercoaster that’s going to be open for the foreseeable future
