The CI Development Roadmap is Here!
Alpha access slated to start this July, with updates planned through September!
Hi. I'm a bit confused about updates: is patreon alfa demo any different from the public demo right now? Or they both are the same and both were updated with small fixes on 03/01? Or does patreon version include all those new scenes you mentioned in weekly news (T segment, K segment, etc.)?
Hello! I’m sorry for the confusion, I forgot to update the posts that indicates when the last update was posted. New alpha content was uploaded 04/02, though one of my patrons was kind enough to help with pronoun errors so I pushed a few updates not too long ago with the fixes. About a week ago I updated the beta demo and introduced the ability to choose whether you play the game with Masaru or Masami.
The alpha demo is updated every month with new story content, more akin to early access. Currently it stands at more than 60k of content not available to beta players, for a total of 135k words. Right now, chapter 3 is available in almost its entirety, leading up to the start of segment K. Masaru has been implemented up to the solo scenes. If in doubt, you can check my patreon and see if I uploaded a new link for that month.
Some things I talk about during the month are new additions to be implemented next month (except the prologue which will imply a lot of changes to fix stat balance, so that one might take a while).
A small overview of things in chapter 3, as vague as possible to avoid spoilers: familiar, getting to know Masa, Hazuki and Miwa better, finding a way out, meeting K.
The beta demo, on the other hand, has been updated pretty often but only for bug fixes, changing phrasing and adding in pronouns for the new gender changeable ros.
I hope that helped! If you have any other questions feel free to let me know.

Other notes:
I’d like to think that everyone knows what (Pre)Alpha means and everything that comes with it, but just in case; Anything and everything in this version of the game is subject to change and may not represent the final product.
There’s a readme.txt in the folder you download along with game. It’ll explain basic functions that I couldn’t tell you in the game, and a few other things.
In the Key Items menu, the Game Manual, Tips and Tricks, and the yellow book don’t work yet.
The Monsterpedia is still placeholder text and images.
Most of the thing in the Options menu don’t have an apparent effect yet.
The flora items don’t have any use yet, excluding Nettle, which can be eaten to restore some health.
Shortly, I’ll be re-writing and re-designing the GUI. I realized too late that the controls I had planned all along were too jumbled up and confusing. I’m going to simplify the controls while still having variety and customization. Specifically, I’m going to condense the controls into something that can fit onto an SNES controller, and I’m going to focus on something that doesn’t rely on the mouse (but mouse functions will still be available).
There’s a lot of problems with the collision code and enemy AI. This prevented me from introducing more enemies in time for this release. After I improve the controls, I’m going to re-write those, too. This doesn’t invalidate any bug reports related to collision or enemies, however.
Mydhilde and its updates will continue to be free until it reaches its Alpha stage (ETA: late May). Those updates will at least include the two I mentioned above, along with any bug fixes when needed. Further details on how to get into Closed Alpha access will be revealed later.
