I saw your post about a lot of things aside couples and babies and pups and even tho I know we'd die for them I'm really curious rn about how would it be things like police, swat, those places. Hm... I have a guess the major role of those jobs are mainly done by alphas, so how would it work to an omega? I'm mainly focused on this rn because alphas in my current story on swat clothings make me weak but tell me about it in general, please >< If there is any sort of job hormone taking is needed to control the scenting or so, if there is some prejudice... I hope this doesn't sound confusing ><

Hey, sweet follower, thank you for reaching out. I originally wasn't going to answer because nobody likes to read the political side of the scientific side of Omegaverse. OM doesn't really know how to answer this question well, but I know she could, but I am here helping.
The police would be a mix of personnel; however, there would be a significant amount of Betas working in the field as they would be considered neutral. They don't have pheromones that could affect the public out when interacting. Omegas and Alpha would be working too. However, they assist the Betas if a situation is needed to be dealt with force or if they need to calm down somebody.
Codes colors are based on the situation, and the personnel needed like:
-Purple (Omega is needed)
-Green( More Betas are needed)
-Golden( Alphas is needed)
Of course, there are a series of numbers following after it. The colors are actually based on the second gender.
The Swat would be a little bit different since this is a powerhouse organization. The Alphas dominate this job. It is a high-risk job, so there is a low percentage of Omegas in this field. Betas are usually the ones to drive the group of Alphas to the location they are needed in. Omegas are primarily found in the offices directing or making sure that the ongoing case is not leaked.
In places like secret Services, Omegas are the dominates on the job. They are usually undercover and use a lot of technology to find threats and information that could potentially harm the country. They work together with the Swat a lot.
To work in harmony, these types of buildings have scent blockers so that Omegas nor Alphas are affected. When out on the job, Omegas and Alphas need to use scent blockers too. There is no prejudice; however, there is a requirement that needs to fill out that Some Omegas might not qualify to be or Alphas. Betas are less likely to have trouble finding jobs; however, they do need the assistance of Omegas and or Alphas to do their job right.
When it comes to jobs related to criminal justice or protection of the country, Everyone is accepted; however, positions like President, Vice president, and other higher positions are still in the process of accepting Omegas as the history with omegas is sad and discriminatory.
