It was nice to pretend you had no worries in the world for a few hours. As if Monday was too far away for you to be concerned about going back to your nine to five job once the weekend ended.
For now, it felt nice to be laying on the grass of your beautiful backyard, a soft pillow between your head and the rough bark of the tree that provided you shade. You were halfway through The Midnight Library, a book your boyfriend raved about enough that it convinced you to read.
And the fantasy novel was just that good, but you would never admit it to Namjoon that easily.
As if conjured by your thoughts, or perhaps the missing him you felt in your heart, you heard the rustle of dried leaves coming from the thick wood behind your house. The flying birds that broke the blue sky were the second telltale sign that your boyfriend was close.
You kept your book in your lap as you waited, but couldn’t help the smile that appeared on your lips at the sight of the big brown wolf that stepped out between the trees. His eyes were stuck on you, snout up in the air to breathe you in even from so far away.
Namjoon said you smelled of rainy sunday mornings and strawberry cream, whatever that meant. Unfortunately, your very human nose wasn’t as unnaturally powerful as his werewolf one.
“Come here, puppy.” you called to him, tapping the grass next to you as you would do to a dog.
Namjoon’s response was a low growl that made your bones rattle, the kind that unnerved you when you first met him. Now it made you laugh, knowing you’d pay for that teasing sooner than later.
The wolf started to run, crossing the whole backyard and reaching you in seconds. Knowing him and his clumsy human version, you quickly scanned the page you were reading to memorize the number and closed it up; you didn’t have enough time to search for the bookmark before the huge mass of fur was jumping on you.
Despite his massive frame and weight, Namjoon was always careful with you. He could have seriously hurt you when his body hit your legs. Instead, your squeals weren’t of pain, but in desperation to stop him from licking whatever skin your sundress didn’t cover.
“Stop, baby, stop!” you were giggling as you tried to push his head off your leg. “You know I hate it when you do that!”
And you know I hate it when you call me ‘puppy’. Namjoon’s response was delivered into your head; another werewolf thing that took you a while to get used to.
Namjoon, while in wolf form, could speak into your mind, an ability that he shared with all members of his pack. You being human meant that you couldn’t be part of the pack, but you and the alpha were bonded, meaning you were able to have a few surprising perks.
“Okay, I’m sorry, I won’t do it again!” you lied. The kicking of your legs and wailing of your heart stopped when Namjoon gave up on his short lived revenge.
You took a moment to compose yourself, sitting up against the tree trunk as the pillow you were using ended up a few meters away. You fixed your hair back into place as Namjoon watched you with an open mouth, tongue out and breathing rapidly. You wanted to scoff and tell him that he did look like a puppy when he acted like that, but you refrained.
The wolfman toppled sideways on the grass, resting his large head on your lap. As if it was second nature, your hands found his fur and you used your nails to scratch his scalp; an action that pleased both man and wolf.
“How was your run, my love?” you asked as you felt him relax against you. “I hope you didn’t give Kookie a hard time.”
Namjoon huffed, making the skirt of your dress rustle with the wind. I don’t give him a hard time, you just baby him too much.
“I do no such thing!” yes you did, but you knew the boy since he was sixteen and you still saw him as the scrawny kid that he was when he ran into Namjoon’s established pack.
I need to make it harder for him so he knows his place. Your boyfriend spoke as if he didn’t have a very soft spot for the boy. Otherwise he’ll think it’s okay to challenge me for my spot.
“Jungkook would never challenge you, he admires you too much.” you pointed out, fingers getting lost in the fur on the back of his neck. “I always thought he had a massive crush on you when we first met him.”
I’ll tell him you said that. Namjoon’s body trembled as he coughed; or the wolf version of a laugh. That will be a great opener tonight.
“What’s tonight? Are you going out with them?” you asked absentmindedly, already picturing a bottle of wine, a bathtub and a bad reality TV show marathon, if Namjoon had plans that didn’t involve you.
No, the guys are coming over. He told you as if it wasn’t a big deal. I invited them for dinner.
“You did what?”
You must’ve sounded serious, as Namjoon laid down on his stomach and turned his face to look at you. His eyes reminded you of a doe and not of the wild wolf that he was.
They wanted to see you, so I just thought–
“Kim Namjoon. You know I don’t mind having them over, but a little heads up would have been nice?” you stared at him, eyebrows raising. “We don’t have any food in the house!”
Cub, we have so much food in the house. Namjoon sounded soft, like he was talking to a child.
“Not to feed a pack!” you groaned. “Surely I can put something together, but it won’t be the same!”
They will appreciate it nonetheless, I promise. The wolf reasoned. We can even order pizza if that will make it easier.
“I’m not serving ‘easier’ to your packmates!” you were almost offended by that idea.
Seokjin, Hoseok, Yoongi, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook were your friends, too. You knew them all for at least a decade now and they’ve been to your house more times than you could even remember; before Namjoon even moved in with you or formed his own pack.
But, lately more than ever, you didn’t feel like you were only ‘Namjoon’s girlfriend’. If he was pack leader, their newly appointed Alpha, then that gave you a higher position, too. Even if you weren’t part of the pack, you still felt like you had a role to play.
One that sometimes appeared in the form of feeding the seven hungry wolves.
“Oh my god, I need fresh strawberries.” you said as your brain tried to come up with a menu for this impromptu dinner.
Why do you need fresh strawberries? Namjoon asked patiently. He knew better than to stop your brain from overthinking.
“For dessert, of course! What day is it?” you asked while standing up. Before he could answer, you spoke again: “Today is saturday, so the fresh fruit market is going to be at the town square.”
You’re going to the market now? The wolf stood on his four legs and you ignored how he stared at your ass when you bent down to gather your book and the pillow.
“No, my love.” you had your free hand on your hip. “We are going to the market now.”
Babyyyyyyy. Namjoon groaned both in your head and out of his wolf mouth. I just came back from a run.
“I know, so I need you to march in there and shower before we leave.” you nagged, turning on your heels and walking towards the backdoor of your house. “While you get ready, I’ll– Uh-uh! No wolf in the house, please!”
The wolf practically howled in annoyance, a complaint away from being called puppy again. You pushed the sliding glass door open enough for a human to pass, going straight into the kitchen while Namjoon did his thing and turned back into his human form.
The shifting was something you’ve seen before, Namjoon made you watch it in the very early stages of your relationship, so you’d know what you were getting yourself into. But it wasn’t a sight you actively tried to watch out for.
“Happy now?” the man grumbled and when you looked at him again, you found Namjoon naked and covering his modesty with both hands. His skin was sweaty and had a few dirt spots from mud and grass.
“Very, thank you.”
You shooed the man away, not hiding it when you stared at his ass and back when he walked past you to take the stairs to the second floor. While Namjoon showered, you all but ran around the kitchen, opening and closing cabinets and searching the fridge for whatever you could cook tonight.
Namjoon wasn’t so wrong in assuming you did have food in the house, he always made sure to keep your home –including the meat freezer in the garage– filled with everything one might need.
You knew it made his animal side elated and proud to be able to provide for you, while his more human side was happy that you had your own job and kept your independence.
After making a mental check-list of the few things you needed to buy when you were out, you kept your ears aware of your boyfriend on the floor above you; never a delicate walker, that one. When you could tell Namjoon was done with his shower, you walked to the front of the house to put your sandals on.
It was such a nice day out, in the height of spring, that you didn’t feel like changing from your flowy sundress, only tightening the bow on the back so the top was more snug on your chest.
The small growl you heard brought all different kinds of shivers to your heated skin, making you look up through the reflection in the mirror you were standing in front of. You saw as Namjoon walked down the stairs, clean and smelling of fresh aftershave, jaw locked as he stared you down like a meal.
“I really like that dress on you.” he told you what you already knew while you pretended the way he was looking at you didn’t bother you.
“Do you like the dress, or the fact that you gave it to me?” you turned around when he jumped the last step, landing surprisingly elegantly.
“I like that it makes your tits look great.” Namjoon was shamelessly staring, making you laugh despite the heat creeping up your neck.
You crossed your arms, unintentionally pushing your breasts up. “You say this now, but then other people look at them and you get all jealous.”
Namjoon looked good enough to eat in a dark green t-shirt that matched the color of your dress and was a little tight on his chest and bulging biceps. His shorts were brown and knee length, perfect for the sunny day.
Your checking-out was cut short as the man towered over you and bent his knees to pick you up; strong hands on your hips to lift you and press you between his body and the hallway wall.
You gasped as your breath was knocked out of you, legs wrapping around his hips as your arms uncrossed and your hands reached for his shoulders. Your eyes were on his lips, catching the feral smirk that Namjoon aimed your way.
“I don’t need to be jealous, baby.” Namjoon informed you in what you knew was the complete truth. He didn’t need to, yet he still did. His face found the crook of your neck, nose dragging on the column of your throat. “You’re mine.”
“Joon–” you moaned, hands finding his neck as one of them ventured into his hair.
“Say it.” with the small tug on his hair, Namjoon groaned against your throat, opening his mouth to leave wet kisses against your skin. “I want to hear you say it.”
“I’m yours, alpha.”
Using his title was a dirty move, making him shudder and press you harder against the wall. But Namjoon wasn’t the only one who had tricks up his sleeve. You still felt the wet spot on your neck when he pulled his face away from it in order to level his nose with yours, so close you could breathe in his air.
“Fuck yeah, you are.”
Namjoon agreed as his hands slipped to your ass to raise you just a little higher, aiming his mouth with yours before stealing your breath with a mind numbing kiss that had you putty in his arms. Your jaw fell slack, lips parted for his tongue to invade your mouth. The kiss was deep and slow, sensual and toe curling.
Unfortunately, it was also short lived when he mumbled against your swollen lips: “Let’s go get your fresh strawberries.”
You lived in Dalju your whole life, born and raised in the tiny town between mountains and surrounded by forests. It wasn’t until you turned sixteen and met Seokjin –who would later introduce you to Namjoon– that you found out that half the town’s population was made up of werewolves.
It was funny how you could tell now, simply from walking around the square, who was human like you, and who was a supernatural being. Werewolves had that special thing that made them stand up, if you paid enough attention. They reacted faster, walked more elegantly and, sometimes, you could see the yellow flashing in their eyes.
You’ve been to other places before, Seul was just a drive away, but you liked this quiet life. Namjoon, even if he wasn’t a werewolf, wouldn’t trade living so close to nature for a busy city, you were sure. That was something you talked about, both comfortable in the status of your relationship, the fact that Dalju was a safe place to start and raise a family.
And now, walking around the town’s square, hand in hand with the love of your life, you didn’t think there was another place you’d like to be.
The sun warmed up your skin and the cool winds soothed it, the smell of fresh fruit, flowers and baked goods lifted your spirits and put a pep in your steps. Every Saturday, stores and markets had a little booth at the square in the middle of the town, offering good prices and fresh produce. That’s where you knew you’d find the best strawberries possible for baking the cake for the pack.
“Are you okay?” you gently hit Namjoon’s hip with yours as you walked the made-up street that was lined with stalls and booths on either side of you. You knew that places like this, with too much information all at once, could be a little overwhelming for him at times.
“I’m fine, cub.” he answered you with a smile, squeezing your hand reassuringly.
“We won’t be here long, I can already see Mrs. Chan’s booth.” you pointed out one of the few stalls up ahead.
“I like Mrs. Chan.” Namjoon grinned, making you bite back a roll of your eyes.
“She likes you even more.”
“Aww, don’t be jealous, baby.” he chuckled like a boy, warming your heart as much as it annoyed you. “You know I like them a little younger.”
“Okay, no need to sound like a creep.”
You pinched your boyfriend on his side, making his laugh so much his shoulders were shaking.
Mrs. Chan was a very nice old lady that owned her family farm until she could pass it on to her oldest child. She sold the biggest berries you’ve ever seen that were as sweet as her. The woman also carried a not-that-serious crush for your boyfriend; not that you could blame her, when he was handsome and charming.
“Good afternoon, noona.” Namjoon greeted the woman before you had the chance to, using the honorific he knew would make her croon. “Your hair looks lovely today.”
“If it isn’t my favorite boy and his lovely girl.” Mrs. Chan was already red in the face, fixing her round glasses on the bridge of her nose to see the two of you better. She was wearing a floor length, floral dress, with a light cardigan on top. Her hair was up and away from her face, in a braid that was a little crooked here and there. Turning her face sideways so you could see the hair-do better, she said: “You like it? My granddaughter did it for me.”
“She is very talented, Mrs. Chan.” you smiled softly. “Are your grandkids in town?”
“Oh, yes, spring break and all that.” the woman explained with excitement. “What can I help you with today?”
“This one is looking for fresh strawberries, so I told her we would find them here.” Namjoon let go of your hand and placed his on the low of your back. You sent him squinted eyes.
“Well, you won’t find any fresher than mine!” Mrs. Chan gushed, pointing to the beautiful spread on the stall between you. “Try some!”
Rows of colorful fruits and vegetables were spread out and a shallow bucket had dozens and dozens of juicy, red strawberries. Neither you nor Namjoon made the move first, making the woman laugh and pick up two medium sized strawberries to hand them over to the two of you.
Your boyfriend simply plucked the hull out of the fruit before shoving the whole thing into his mouth. He regretted it instantly, covering his mouth while he chewed and you judged him with your eyes as Mrs. Chan laughed.
Instead of stuffing your mouth like a hamster, you took a bite out of the fruit. It was so sweet that you felt it on the corners of your jaw as you chewed. Even when you tried to have more class than your man, a couple droplets of the strawberry juice still escaped on the corner of your lips as you swallowed.
Nothing got past Namjoon, who reached out to lift your chin with his pointer finger, angling your face towards him. You blinked slowly as he ran his thumb along your bottom lip and collected the drops, bringing them back to your mouth. Without thinking about your audience, you parted your mouth and flicked your tongue on the pad of his digit to collect it.
If you could hear his wolf right now, he’d be saying ‘Good girl, don’t let a drop go to waste’.
As if remembering where you were, Namjoon moved his hand from your face and replaced his smug smile with a more innocent one, facing a flustered Mrs. Chan to say: “Best strawberry I’ve ever tasted.”
“Oh, good! How many do you need, dear?” the older woman bent as much as her back allowed her to, to pick a small plastic green basket and paper bag to pick your order.
Namjoon looked at you, but you were still chewing on the rest of your strawberry, lifting both hands to show him all of your fingers. Mrs. Chan picked the prettiest looking berries and placed them on the green basket and then placed those inside the paper bag. You ended up picking a couple tangerines, too, since you knew Yoongi was coming over later.
You tried paying for the produce, but Namjoon was faster than you and took care of it, letting the woman keep the hefty change for herself.
As you walked away from the booth, your boyfriend searched for your free hand as you carried the paper bag with the other. Neither of you were in such a rush to go back home, silently deciding to walk the rest of the fair before going back to where your bikes were parked.
It was only when Namjoon hesitated that you searched his face for any sign of trouble.
“Hongjoong is here.” he told you quietly, head pointing to the man in question. “I didn’t know his pack was in town.”
“You think there’s something wrong?” you asked with a small flutter of your stomach, the nervous kind.
After you started dating Namjoon, you learned that werewolves could be volatile beings. Packs were extremely territorial and sometimes that made them butt heads. All of the disagreements Bangtan was involved in were solved with conversations, as far as you knew, but if it wasn’t for Namjoon and his diplomatic skills, things could have easily gotten out of hand.
Hongjoong’s pack was made of eight members, which made them bigger than Bangtan by number. They never challenged each other, but Namjoon still threaded carefully.
“Go say hi, be nice.” you told him with a gentle nudge in the direction of the other alpha. “Just don’t invite him for dinner.”
“I wasn’t going to–”
Namjoon mumbled before letting go of your hand so he could walk to the other man. You knew one of the reasons for the two packs to not get along was the fact that Hongjoong didn’t like that Namjoon chose a human as his partner. Their pack believed in keeping the lycan race pure, which made you want to give them a history book as a gift.
You could tell when you weren’t welcome, so you stayed behind while your boyfriend went to greet the other werewolf, but you still bowed politely from afar when the man in question looked at you.
Instead of staring or looking like a lost puppy waiting for its owner to come back, you looked around and approached the first stall you found.
You didn’t think you'd seen them at the fair before, but you recognized the name of the store that it was representing. You never walked into Moon’s Gift Shop, but you remembered it from walking around town and spying the storefront. The guy taking care of the booth was distracted with organizing a few gemstones side by side, jumping a little when he saw you standing near.
“Oh, I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to spook you!” you apologized as the man caught his breath.
“No, no, please, I was so in my head that the wind would have spooked me.” the man dismissed it quickly, fixing his posture. “Are you looking for anything specific? A candle, special herbs…?”
“I’m just taking a look, but thank you.” your polite answer was clearly disappointing as he realized you weren’t a buying customer. To try and seem interested, you asked: “I’ve never seen you at the fair before.”
“First time today.” the man has his hands on his back and straight shoulders, a friendly smile on his face. “My uncle owns the shop, but he’s too old to be here all day. I’m new in town, so I thought this might be a nice way to meet everyone.”
“That makes sense.” you nodded slowly.
Dalju was the type of small town where everyone knew everyone, or at least heard of everyone.
“Well, you just met one more person.” you offered the man a hand to shake, telling him your name. “I work at the french coffee shop down at samgye street, just pop in any time from monday through friday and I’ll give you a free butter cookie.”
“You must be the nicest person I’ve met so far!” the man beamed, reaching for your hand to shake. The movement made his shirt move up on his forearm a little more, revealing a beautiful tattoo of what looked like a bouquet of flowers at first glance, but when you focused on it, you realized they weren't flowers at all. The art piece on his arm showed four incredibly detailed snakes in vibrant colors, so entangled in each other that it made their colors pop up even more. “I’m Seung-cheol and I’ll definitely claim that butter cookie.”
“I’ll be watching out for you, then.” you told him, noticing from the corner of your eye that Namjoon was ending his conversation and looking for you.
“Let me give you something in return.”
“You really don’t have to, oh God–”
You didn’t have the heart to tell that the butter cookies you offered were freebies that most people got when buying coffee at the Café. It wasn’t a special ‘welcome’ thing. Yet, the man was faster and picked a handmade bracelet from a small pile, with a round gem-stone in the color of your dress.
You were so surprised that you didn’t react when the nice man reached for your left arm and tied the bracelet around your wrist.
“Baby?” Namjoon’s voice was low and when you looked at him, you saw his jaw clench. His eyes were on the hand of the man around your wrist.
You knew you were in trouble.
Not because your boyfriend was irrational or possessive, but because was touching the spot on your wrist that meant something to Namjoon. If you were a werewolf, that’s where one of your scent glands would be. Even as human, the insides of your wrists was a spot on your body that he liked to kiss.
So for another man to be gifting you something –which could be considered as courting, for Namjoon’s kind–, and touching your scent point, sent a message to Namjoon. At least to the wolf side of your boyfriend.
“Are you ready to go?” a possessive arm sneaked around your waist and settled on your hips, giving it a firm squeeze that pulled you into his body and unlatched your arm from the other man’s grasp.
“Of course, my love.” you easily fit into your boyfriend’s side, smiling lovingly at him before saying goodbye to the man you just met. “Welcome to Dalju, I hope you like it here. Oh, and thank you for the bracelet.”
bowed a full ninety degrees. “I’ll see you soon.”
Namjoon all but dragged you away from the booth, making the way back from where you came. You had an arm around his waist and the paper bag with the fruits on your other hand. Your lover’s breathing was heavy and his body felt tense, only relaxing when you were halfway to the bicycle parking area.
You thought you were safe when he finally asked:
“I see you're making new friends, huh?”
“The guy is new in town, I was just being nice.” you shrugged, not making a big deal of what wasn’t one.
“And you got a gift out of it. How nice.” sarcasm was lacing his words, clearly in a sour mood. “Where is he from?”
“I didn't ask.” you told him honestly, but you did share what you did know: “He said his uncle owns Moon’s Gift Shop.”
“The one next to the record store?” Namjoon asked and you nodded. “That's weird.”
“How is that weird?”
“That's where Jimin buys moon stones and vervain sometimes.” your boyfriend explained as you walked side by side and you understood what he meant. “I could swear it was a wolf-owned store.”
“ isn't a werewolf.” you pointed out the obvious. Even with that short interaction, if the man was a supernatural in any level, you would have noticed.
“Oh, so he has a name?”
“Oh my god, Namjoon.” you rolled your eyes at the little jab, dropping your arm from around him once you reached your two bikes. “I thought you didn't get jealous.”
“I'm not jealous.” he shrugged, using his superhuman strength to pick up your bike with one hand and put it on the sidewalk in front of you.
“Mhmm, sure big boy.” you were shaking your head as you placed the paper bag with the fruits on the wicker basket on the front of your bike. Looking for a change of subject you asked: “How's Hongjoong’s pack?”
“Just passing through, it seems.” Namjoon told you, letting go of his jealousy for now. “They are going to Seoul to oversee some territory feuds.”
You waited for the man to free his own bike before you lifted the kickstand on yours so you could walk side by side while pushing the vehicles. This area was much too crowded for the two of you to start riding them yet.
“Southside again?” you asked with genuine interest, knowing you were lucky that Namjoon shared everything with you. Things humans were probably not allowed to know.
With a nod, your boyfriend said: “Mhm. They are targeting humans now, trying to get a rise out of the Northside.”
“That's not good.” you must’ve looked concerned, making the werewolf rush to add:
“You know I'd die before letting anything happen to you.”
“I'm not worried, my love.” maybe only enough for you to be smart. “Those disputes hardly ever get here.”
The bulgogi was soaking in seasoning, beer was in the freezer and the cake was baking in the oven. You already had Namjoon fix the pillows on the couch and bring the armchair from the hallway to the living room just so your guests could have one more option to sit.
You still had a good few hours before the guests arrived and you could finally relax. You had things under control.
Yeah. You got this.
“What smells so good?” Namjoon was asking as he walked into the kitchen, bringing some coasters that you knew he got from the bar cart.
“That would be my cake.” you grinned, heart filled with pride.
You checked the clock on the oven just to make sure it wasn’t ready yet, even if you did put an alarm on your phone. You were so distracted that you didn’t see the sneaky wolf coming around the kitchen island to hug you from behind as he nuzzled into your neck.
“Mhmm, I think it's you.” Namjoon’s nose tickled you, making you laugh and turn around in his arms as you tried to escape. “Did you make this from scratch?”
Over your shoulder, you noticed what he was looking at; the mixing bowl filled with pink frosting.
“Mhmm, strawberry–” you gasped mid sentence, watching as your boyfriend dipped two fingers into the bowl. “You did not just shove your fingers into my buttercream!”
“You know I can't resist your cooking.” he smiled like a child before bringing his pointer and middle fingers to his mouth to lick it off. “It's so good, cub, you should try some.”
“Then I'll use a spoon–”
You found yourself astonished as Namjoon brought the same two fingers to the bowl again. At least he had the good mind to swipe them on the edge of the bowl, instead of dipping them in the middle of the frosting. You might have asked for a premature divorce if he had.
You winced when the man brought his hand close to your face, but instead of spreading buttercream on your cheek or nose, he kept them near your mouth. The boyish smile dropped from his face and you saw a flash of yellow, knowing Namjoon wasn’t playing anymore.
It made you very aware of the marble island behind you and of the tall man in front of you. Namjoon was always burning hot –another wolf thing that came in handy during winter times–, always caging you in like the perfect prey.
“Won’t you have a taste?” his voice was low and tempting, as if inviting you to sin.
And god knew you were only on your knees for Namjoon.
Your eyes were stuck to his, unblinking. You were scared you might miss the small shows of his wolf if you broke eye contact. It made you miss the small movement of his leg until you felt it parting yours and pushing his tight in between.
It made you suck in a breath through slightly parted lips. Namjoon watched your mouth and tapped your bottom lip with his buttercream covered fingers. He didn’t push them in, simply letting you make the next move.
You were already melting under his golden gaze, slipping your tongue between your lips and licking between his fingers. Namjoon hummed in approval, chest vibrating against yours as he took a step impossibly closer. It pressed his muscular thigh to your middle, a small whine leaving your lips from the pressure on your clit.
Your lips wrapped around his fingers and you gave them a gentle suckle; all Namjoon needed to push them slowly into your mouth, all the way to the back of your throat. Being his girlfriend for almost a decade now, you’d taken something a lot longer and thicker down your throat, no gag reflex as you sucked on his fingers and swallowed around them.
Your moan was muffled as Namjoon continued to grind his leg against your pussy, causing it to throb and clench, while he practically fucked your mouth with his fingers. And he kept doing it until his digits were clean from any trace of buttercream, pulling them out of your mouth just as slowly as he pushed them in.
“Look at how wet you made them, baby.” Namjoon teased, making you lick your lips that were also covered in spit.
“It’s only fair.” you spoke quietly, submissively, as your hands found his sides and you rocked your hips to grind against his thigh again.
“Oh?” Namjoon raised an eyebrow, playing dumb. “Did alpha make you wet, too?”
“Yes, alpha.” you nodded, bitting your bottom lip.
Namjoon moved his leg back, but before you could complain at the loss of contact, he pushed your knees further apart. One of your hands seeked balance on the counter behind you, while the other rested on his chest. You could feel his rapid heartbeat against your palm, but it still lost when compared to yours the moment Namjoon lowered his hand between your legs.
The werewolf used the same two wet fingers to push your panties to the side, slipping between your folds with so much ease that it made your cheeks burn. And he looked pretty proud of himself, too, as he was the cause of how sopping wet your pussy felt.
Skilled fingers touched you up and down, circling your entrance and making you press your nails against his pec. Namjoon groaned under his breath, leaning his face closer to yours as his two fingers playfully circled your clit.
“Oh, fuck.” you whined, the hand on his chest finding home at his nape.
“You smell so fucking sweet, baby.” he growled, forehead resting against yours.
“B-better than the frosting?” your voice was trembling as much as your legs as the man kept teasing your clenching hole and moving up to flick your clit.
“So much better.” Namjoon praised.
You closed your eyes and craned your neck enough for your mouth to find Namjoon’s. Your teeth latched onto his bottom one and you sucked it into your mouth before biting down. You knew that would get a reaction out of him, as the man groaned roughly and pushed the two fingers into you.
Your moan was high pitched, the parting of your mouth and the proximity making Namjoon press his mouth roughly against yours. He always kissed you hard, as if making sure you would never forget it. His face tipped to the side to deepen the kiss and you followed suit, letting him lead, allowing him to take what he wanted.
Afterall, you were getting what you wanted out of it too.
His fingers went in deep, curling upwards in a knowing angle that pressed the rough spot on your wall. The heel of his palm was rubbing down on your clit, making you lose your fucking mind. Namjoon moved the digits in and out of your pussy in fast paced drags, arm bulging and making your whole body shake with the force of the strokes.
“Close already, huh?” he teased against your lips when you could no longer kiss him back.
“Fuck, please, make me cum–”
Your head fell backwards as your eyes closed shut. You were clenching around his fingers as Namjoon sped up impossibly fast; another crazy thing about werewolves, that stamina. The man took it as an invitation to bend down and mouth at your neck, scratching your skin with his teeth, breathing you in.
The low cut on your dress made it easy for Namjoon to kiss the tops of your breasts, a wicked tongue making them wet and glistening in the bright kitchen lights.
Your knees were shaking as you rolled your hips to grind against his hand, pushing the fingers deeper and pressing his palm on your clit enough to make you see stars. Your hand was tugging at the hair on the nape of his neck as you held onto dear life. Namjoon was smiling when he lifted his head to say:
“Fucking cum for your alpha.”
You had no other choice as your whole body shuddered with the command, the pressure on your lower stomach tensed hard enough to break. With the force of your orgasm, you fell forward against his chest. Namjoon used his free arm to hold you against him and help you ride it out, dragging it on and on as his fingers still pumped in and out of you, but this time he didn’t touch your clit.
He knew you enough to know how sensitive you got after cumming this hard. You felt like jelly, like your body had a mind of its own as you hid your face in his chest. Your ears were ringing as your boyfriend kissed the top of your head.
“So fucking sweet.” Namjoon said after pulling his damn fingers out of his mouth.
“You better not get those anywhere near my buttercream.” you threatened with no bite.
“You still have quite the attitude for someone who’s dripping down her thighs.” your boyfriend grinned, only letting go of you when he made sure you weren’t about to drop. “You’re welcome, by the way.”
“I love you, smart ass.” you laughed, ears still buzzing.
“I love you more.” he replied in a way he knew would make you scoff. “And I think your cake is ready.”
-
You were already planning on taking a shower before the pack arrived, but your activities in the kitchen sped up the process. You even lit up a brown sugar scented candle in an attempt to override the smell of… Well, you.
After scrubbing your body and washing your hair, you put on comfortable clothes; a pair of mom jeans and a t-shirt, along with a white, knitted cardigan on top. You were pushing an earring into your left ear when you walked into your shared bedroom to find Namjoon sitting on the edge of the bed.
“We are so disgusting.” you laughed as you saw he had changed too, wearing pants the same color as yours and a white, knitted sweater.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Namjoon denied it, adding: “Our matching outfits are purely a coincidence.”
“Of course they are.”
You walked to him as if pulled by a magnet, watching a dimple appear on his cheek. You didn’t know how you got so lucky, not only to meet someone as amazing and incredible as Namjoon, but to be able to call him yours.
He was the calm when you were stressed, never complained when you asked for a favor, he went out of his way to make sure you were well and happy. Namjoon could have opted to side with his own kind and stay away from you for being human, but he still chose you. He chose you every single day and you knew that would never change.
You would always choose him too.
“I'm sorry I drove you crazy today.” you sat down next to him, head resting against his shoulder.
Namjoon laughed. “You didn't.”
“Yeah, right.” you scoffed, knowing damn well that you bossed him around more than you normally would, on top of giving him a hard time about inviting his brothers for dinner.
“No, I'm serious.” he insisted, letting go of a tiny breath before confessing: “It made me excited for when you start to nest.”
“Baby, humans don't nest.” you pointed out, lifting your head so you could look at him.
But Namjoon said sheepishly: “Pregnant humans do.”
“Oh.” you guessed that made sense, but– “Wait, what day is it?!”
“Today is Saturday, cub, we covered this.” his big hand rested on your thigh as you dismissed him to pull your phone from where you left it on the nightstand before your shower.
“I mean the day of the month.” you were mostly talking to yourself at this point, unlocking your phone and pulling up the calendar.
After Namjoon left his familial pack to form Bangtan with his best friends, a new pack that picked him as their leader, something changed within your boyfriend. A different urge that he didn’t have before. Namjoon felt ready to start a family with you. You knew it came from his wolf side, the wish to ensure his line would carry on, make the pack stronger.
One might think it was a primitive urge, you were aware of that, but he was part animal at the end of the day. He had instincts that spoke louder than others.
He’d brought up the idea one day and you found yourself surprisingly excited about the thought of carrying his pups. You might not even be married yet, but it didn’t matter to either of you. You both knew you were end game for each other, Taehyung liked to tease that you were Namjoon’s mate, despite being human and not wolf.
You also didn’t know the first thing about being a mother, let alone a mother to possible werewolf babies. But you both were also aware that a pregnancy between your species was difficult to happen in the first place.
It might take years for it to happen to the two of you.
“Joon, I'm ovulating.” you spoke quietly after checking the app.
“I know.” he said, drawing circles on your thigh with his thumb.
“You– how?”
“You tasted sweeter.” Namjoon avoided looking at you as he said it, as if that made him shy and not all the rest that happened just a couple hours ago. “I could smell it on you, too. All day.”
“Why didn’t you say anything?” you probed him softly.
He shrugged. “I didn’t want to seem pushy.”
“Baby, you wouldn’t be pushy.” you assured him, placing your hand on top of his. “That's something we both want.”
“Yeah?”
You nodded. “We can start trying tonight.”
“Fuck.” he wheezed and you wanted to laugh. “We can start trying tonight.”
“We could start right now…” you whispered, using your free hand to caress his leg, fingers dancing on the inside of his thigh. “Bet you’d love to stuff me full, huh?”
Namjoon’s eyes grew dark as his lids lowered. He licked between his lips and nodded, parting his legs to invite you closer to where he wanted. You moved on the mattress to get impossibly closer to him, make him drunk on your scent, smothered with your warmth.
“Does alpha want to breed his baby girl?” you asked in a sultry tone, palming at his cock, squeezing it over his jeans. Namjoon closed his eyes for a second and parted his mouth, nodding. You almost felt bad to say: “You could, if you hadn’t invited the pack for dinner.”
“What–” your boyfriend was breathing heavily and blinking rapidly, trying to wrap his brain around your words when you moved your hand away from his crotch. When you were up and out of his grasp, he accused: “You are a cruel woman!”
“You made your bed!” you called back, already back inside the bathroom. “Go downstairs, the boys are never late.”
You heard your boyfriend grumble and pout, stomping his foot all the way downstairs. Not even five minutes later, you heard the doorbell ring, only giving you time to put on some mascara and a red lip stain. The loud and animated voices of your friends filled your heart with joy, making you move faster.
By the time you finished getting ready, all seven men were in the living room, talking over each other and laughing at anything and everything. The moment they saw you standing at the entrance, they all stood to greet you.
The first man to hug you was Seokjin, who happened to be the first werewolf that you’ve ever met, and the one that got you and Namjoon together.
“There you are.” Seokjin was leaner than Namjoon, but his wide shoulders still made him look a little bigger than your buff boyfriend. “Congratulations.”
“Hi, Jinnie.” you hugged him just as tightly, but frowned at what he said. “Congratulations?”
“Are you going to ask me to be the godfather?” Hoseok was pushing Seokjin away and almost bumping you in the process. “Because of course I say yes.”
“Hi, Hobi–”
The excited wolf was the only one that didn’t mind when you called him puppy, as he was more golden retriever than wolf; at least as far as his personality went. Hoseok was part of Namjoon’s original pack and you met him almost at the same time as you were introduced to Joon.
“Of course they are not picking godparents yet.” Yoongi snorted with a bored expression. “Thank you for having us over, by the way. The house smells lovely.”
Yoongi liked to pretend to be quiet and moody, but he had his bursts of energy, especially when alcohol was involved. Not only that, you knew how soft and sweet he truly was. Yoongi was Seokjin’s best friend for almost two decades now, and the three of you were a closed group before the others came along.
“Thank you, Yoongi.” you smiled softly to the man, knowing you’d make your way to him soon enough. “But what are you talking about?”
“Joon hyung told us you’re trying to have a baby!” Taehyung told on your boyfriend as he came over to hug you. As the tall man swayed you from side to side, you shot daggers towards Namjoon over Tae’s shoulder.
You only met Taehyung after you were already dating Namjoon and he was a little weirded out about your human-werewolf relationship, so you didn’t think that friendship with your group would last. But the boy proved to be kind and understanding, someone who just needed a little time to get to know you. Most of the time now he forgot you were human in the first place.
“You know your mate is a blabber mouth, don’t you?” Jimin was chuckling angelically as he waited for Taehyung to let you go.
“Sometimes I can’t believe my luck.” you were shaking your head as you giggled, hugging Jimin and getting a kiss on the cheek.
Taehyung and Jimin were a package deal. You met them both at the same time, but while Tae needed a little push to get used to you, Jimin was an approachable angel. He’d dated humans before, so he didn’t even bat an eye to the fact Namjoon brought you around their hang outs and that you knew the truth about who they were.
“You’ll be a great mom, noona.” Jungkook was the last one to hug you, but the one who held onto you the longest.
“And you’ll be a great uncle.” you told him proudly. “All six of you will.”
Jungkook had been the last one to come into your friend group, exactly what was missing for the eight of you to be complete. You met him on your own, when he was only a teenager who was still learning about the changes his body and mind were going through; he hadn’t even turned into a four legged beast yet.
He didn’t have a lot of male figures growing up, the only alpha he knew was mean and abused his power. That’s what led you to take him under your wing and gently nudge your six other werewolf friends to be his friends and role models.
That’s why Namjoon said you babied him too much, but you just couldn’t help it.
“Okay, now that I said hi to everyone I’ll go check on the food.” you announced to the room as they slowly started to fall into conversation in small groups. “Joon, darling, a little help?”
You walked out of the living room and made your way to the kitchen. Namjoon was following after you, so close that he almost bumped into you when you stopped and turned around to face him, hands on your hips.
“You told them?” you asked through a hiss.
Namjoon looked guilty as can be, but it didn’t stop him from holding your waist with both hands. “I know, I know, I just saw my pack and I was so happy–You know what, I blame you for what you did. You teased me enough that all the blood was down my pants and I wasn’t thinking.”
“You’re not putting that one on me.” you squinted your eyes at him, but couldn’t help melting into his touches when he knew exactly how to handle you. “You are so lucky I love you.”
“Oh, yes I am.” Namjoon chuckled, both hands on the low of your back.
“Besides, you do realize you just told your pack that we’re going to be fucking all the time, right?” you teased, but you also knew better.
“Yes I do.” his smirk was sly and proud, leaning lower and lower until his lips were ghosting yours. “But they knew that already.”
“You’re terrible.” you giggled, closing the distance between the two of you to peck his lips. “Go take drinks for everyone, I’ll join you guys in a bit.”
“I can help if you need.” Namjoon refused to get away from you, making you squirm out of his grasp.
“I don’t have much more to do, I got it.” you promised, walking to the fridge and reaching for the beer packs. “I won’t be long, twenty minutes, tops.”
“Okay, but I’m doing the dishes.” your boyfriend compromised. “For the rest of the week.”
“You bet your sweet ass you are.”
You handed the beers to your boyfriend, watching him walk away just to make sure he wouldn’t drop anything in the process.
You really didn’t have a lot to do at this point, as you ran around like a headless chicken in the afternoon to make sure all of the food would be ready or at least halfway done. The cake was chilling in the fridge, the rice was heating up in the rice-cooker and you turned on the oven to heat up the bulgogi.
Tump!
The noise made you look away from the pan and out into the yard. It wasn’t rare that bigger bugs bumped against the glass door that led outside, but this noise was a bit louder than you were used to.
You quickly found the reason for the noise as you walked closer to the glass, seeing the small bird that was laying on the grass. You quickly opened the door, heart clenching for the poor guy that was obviously hurt.
“Oh, no, birdie…”
You crouched down to pick the small animal up to bring him inside, wondering if you should maybe grab a pair of dish washing gloves before touching him, just in case.
That’s when you saw the shadow that was standing behind you in the reflection of the mirror.
It all happened so fast, you barely had time to react. Arms wrapped around your back to catch you and your mouth was covered with a wet cloth as soon as you opened it to yell for help. You tried kicking and scratching to free yourself, but panic was quickly overriding your brain.
You were hyperventilating and trying to breathe, but that was a mistake. The more you inhaled the sweet smell coming from the cloth covering your nose and mouth, the more disoriented you became. Your legs started to give out, your arms fell limp on your sides and your eyelids felt heavy.
Then everything went dark.
You woke up with a shock.
It felt as if a high voltage power cord had touched you, making your body jolt awake and sit up all at once. Your heart rate was skyrocketing and it felt like your brain was bumping around inside your head, making you dizzy and nauseated. Your eyes were scrunched shut as you held your head and groaned from the stabbing pain on your temple.
You forced yourself to take deep breaths, trying to calm down enough to figure out where you were or what just happened. Dropping your hands to your lap and looking around definitely didn’t help as you realized the terrifying fact that you weren’t home.
You were in a bed, but it wasn’t yours, pushed all the way into a corner. The bedroom was cluttered and messy, with clothes in a pile on the floor, a gaming desk pressed to the wall beside the door, action figures that you didn’t care to recognize inside clear cases on the shelves.
I looked like a teenager’s bedroom, which only confused you further.
Next, you checked yourself.
Looking at your body, you saw you were still wearing the same clothes you changed into for dinner, and you weren’t wearing shoes. But then–
“Oh, fuck!”
Your throat burned dry and your mouth felt sandy when you groaned and cursed, but the more concerning thing was the chain around your ankle. Stupidly, you pulled on it to find it was attached to the floor on the other end. The links were heavy and made of thick iron; obviously used to hold something much stronger than you in place.
It made you shiver to think you might know what it was used for. Or what kind of beast might need such ways of restraint.
You needed to get out of here and you needed to do it fast.
Focus. Find something, you begged yourself. Touching your pockets was useless as you didn’t find your phone. Looking around, you found a window behind the headboard of the bed, but it was bolted shut and covered with thick slabs of wood. Even if you were in your right mind you wouldn’t be able to pull them out with your hands.
Keep looking.
On the wall of the side of the room, you saw something that made you pause.
At first glance, you thought it might be an open wardrobe of some sort, but upon closer inspection, you saw fish tanks. Self preservation was telling you to stay away, but curiosity got the best of you in the end. You stood up and walked as far as the chain would let you, peering into the shelving unit to find no fish or water inside the tanks; but plants, branches and–
A long red mass launched at you, making you scream and step back to get away. Your feet got tangled on the chain, making you trip and fall on your ass unceremoniously. When you looked at the tank again, you saw that what just tried to strike at you was a snake.
It had been stopped by the glass keeping it inside the enclosure, but the animal was still staring at you.
Knock knock.
“What now–” you whispered under your breath, looking at the door to see the shadow of someone standing on the outside.
“I'm coming in okay?” a male voice announced as you pushed yourself up and off the floor, getting as far away from the door as possible; unfortunately, that meant you had to go back to the bed. “I'm not going to hurt you, so you don't have to be scared.”
The words meant nothing to you, you didn’t trust it for a second. Your ears were buzzing as your stomach dropped and twisted uncomfortably. You waited as the door unlocked and was pushed open slowly, revealing your captor.
The familiar face took a while to register in your brain, but then you saw the tattoo on his arm and it clicked. The guy from the market. Cheol.
“Hello…” the man had the audacity to look embarrassed as he lifted his hands and walked in.
“You kidnapped me?!” were the first words out of your mouth as you tried to push your back against the wall to keep as much distance between you as possible.
“No, no… I mean yes, sure, but like I said I'm not trying to hurt you and I won’t do anything to you, I promise.” Cheol assured you, pulling the chair from his gaming set up and taking a seat. At least he stayed away from you. “Look at it this way… I want something, and you're my trading coin.”
You couldn’t think of a single thing you had that a crazy man like him could want. You lived a low profile life, you didn’t have riches or enough money in the bank that would justify a kidnap. Namjoon had an art piece or two, but–
Namjoon.
He would know you were gone by now, maybe he even heard you being taken! Your house was full of werewolves who knew your scent to heart. Bangtan could track you down, no matter how far Cheol took you.
Yes! You’d be saved!
“You have no idea what you just got yourself into.” you told the man, a manic laugh coming out and surprising even yourself. “I have people looking for me, people who won't stop until they find me.”
“That is exactly what I'm counting on.” the man leaned forward with his elbows on his knees, a side smirk that made yours drop and your ears buzz.
“My boyfriend–”
“Kim Namjoon? You think I don't know who he is?” you hated how your partner’s name sounded on his lips, but it was what he said next that had your blood running cold: “Or what he is?”
“Who are you?”
Your right temple was pounding with a migraine, you felt sick to your stomach and kept getting shivers that made you think you might be developing a stress fever. You hated how Cheol was looking at you, studying you like you were a mouse and he was the snake getting ready to strike.
“I didn't lie about my name or who I am.” he replied, head tilting menacingly. “My uncle owns Moon’s Gift Shop. That's how I know about werewolves. Let's just say, since I was a young boy I had my reasons to be fascinated with lycans.”
“What do you want with me?” you pushed your hair out of your face as a few strands were stuck with sweat. “If you're looking for a pet, you messed up. I'm not a werewolf–”
“Aren't you listening? I'm not interested in you, I'm after something much bigger.” Cheol started to get annoyed, but you needed to buy yourself time. You didn’t know how far the pack was, how long it would take for them to reach you.
“What is it that you want, then?” you asked, not sure if you wanted to know the answer.
“I want to join Namjoon’s pack.”
You wanted to laugh, but you knew you were at a disadvantage here, so angering the person who held the key to your chain wouldn’t be the smartest idea. That had to be the stupidest thing you’ve ever heard.
“You're not even a werewolf.” you pointed out the obvious. “And even if you were, you think kidnapping his mate will buy you a place in Bamgtan? You're insane.”
“You're his mate? I didn't know humans could–” the man’s eyes widened for just a second, but he composed himself. “It doesn't matter, I will learn. I will learn everything.”
“Do you really fucking think Namjoon, or any of them, will teach you anything?!” you groaned, reaching for the chain around your foot and pulling on it to make your point across. “Hello!”
“I don't want them to teach me.” Cheol shrugged, straightening his posture to rest against the back of the chair, legs spread. And then he added: “I want Namjoon to turn me.”
“You…”
You had more to say, you were sure, but your brain was having a hard time putting words together to make phrases. Your mouth was dry as if you were swallowing cotton balls, your fingertips were twitching before you hugged yourself to try and calm down.
“Do you have any idea what it is like to never feel like you belong?” his eyes were hard and his voice was deep, but you couldn’t feel sorry for him. “Like you're the lowest amongst your peers? Your own family?”
“Your family are werewolves.” you connected the dots stupidly, thinking about what Namjoon had mentioned once before; that he found it weird that Cheol was human, when he was pretty sure his uncle wasn’t.
“Not my biological family, but the family who adopted me. My adoptive mother thought she was doing me a favor, taking me in. Showing me there's more than a pitiful human life.” an amused smile was making his lips raise in an almost wolfish grin, sarcasm covering every word. “But for what? What's it matter to know the truth if I can't enjoy it myself?”
“If you want to belong to your family, why don't you ask them to turn you?” you asked what seemed obvious to you.
“You think I didn't try? That I didn't ask?” the question, talking about his family, seemed to anger him. But as long as you kept him talking, he wouldn’t be touching you. “My stupid mother was the only one who cared about me, about humans. I've been bullied my whole life for being who I am. They will never turn me, they don't think we are deserving of the blessing of the moon.”
You knew that when he said ‘we’, it included you. You hated how the two of you were included in the same group, that you belonged to the same species. But you got to live amongst wolves, you were loved by them. You didn’t feel like an outsider when you were with Bangtan. It scared you to know what Cheol might do to take your place.
“I'm sorry that this happened to you, but your plan here has many holes.” you tried to sound sympathetic, but you had to be realistic. “Namjoon isn't going to turn you.”
“Oh, but he will. That's why you're here.” he told you with so much certainty that it scared you. Cheol didn’t seem like a stupid person, despite his attitude, he just sounded crazy. And crazy people were dangerous. “All he needs to do is give me what I want, and he gets to take you home, safe and sound.”
“The minute Namjoon finds out what you did, that you're keeping me here, he's going to kill you.” you told him, knowing that when it came to you, Namjoon was always ‘ask questions later’. “You won't have time to tell him your sad story, you won't get to ask for a favor. He won't listen to you.”
“Well. For your own sake, I hope he does.” the man stood up, hands on his hips in a relaxed manner. “You're my collateral.”
“Please–”
Cheol took a couple steps closer to you, but still kept a safe distance. “Do you feel anything? Cold sweats? Nausea?”
You frowned and your stomach dropped like a rock. Of course you felt all that, alongside panic, shortness of breath, headache–
“What have you done to me?” your voice was only above a whisper.
“You should look at your arm.”
His words were enough to make your fear grow a thousand times and you desperately clawed at your cardigan to lift the sleeves on both of your arms. You didn’t need to look much further as you saw the red bump on the inside of your left arm; you could see a tiny prickle where a miniscule drop of blood had coagulated, as if someone poked you with a needle. The punctured area was tender to the touch, swollen and burning hot.
“What is this?! What the hell have you done?” you coughed, eyes burning as you felt your cry in your throat.
“I saw you looking at my tattoo.” the man was no longer watching, but staring at the four snake enclosures. “Beautiful things, don't you think? Deadly, all of them.”
“You poisoned me.” you realized, frozen by fear.
“Nothing personal, I am desperate you see.” he shrugged, turning his head to face you. You covered your arm back down, not wanting to give him the pleasure of seeing the wound he inflicted. “Don't worry, you still have a couple hours before the damage is irreversible. I diluted the venom to drag it out.”
“You're a psychopath!” you yelled out, vision blurry with tears.
“No. I'm a visionary.” Cheol smiled proudly. “All your wolf needs to do is to bite me, and then I'll tell him which of these beauties’ venom is running through your veins. Then he can give you the correct antidote to save your life.”
Maybe it was your brain that was too tired, or how you could feel your body start to give up, but his plan didn’t sound so dumb now that your life was on the line. You did make a great exchange coin, Namjoon would do anything to keep you safe. He would bite Cheol, he would turn him, if it meant keeping you alive.
You didn’t know if this plan was a heat of the moment thing, if he picked you as a target after meeting you at the market or if Cheol already had his eyes on you and Namjoon. It disgusted you how you tried to be nice to him, how you even accepted his gift.
“If he kills me, he'll also be killing you.” your captor had a mocking smile on his face. “Not so mouthy now, huh?”
“I would rather die than see you turn.” you gritted through your teeth. “Your family is right, you don’t deserve to be a werewolf.”
Cheol laughed, smug. “After he bites, maybe you'll get your wish afterall.”
You didn’t know what to do, you had nowhere to run. You felt like you were going to be sick and you didn’t know if it was the anxiety of what was going on, or if it was the snake venom doing its job and poisoning you from the inside out. You didn’t know much about the type of vipers he owned, how potent their venom could be, but you knew that some snakes could kill a horse in less than an hour.
Even if Namjoon got to you in time, Cheol owned four different kinds of snakes and he could have used any of them to poison you. And you couldn’t just gamble on this, you couldn’t just draw one from a hat and pray that that specific anti-venom worked.
I’m here, baby. I’m going to get you out.
Hearing Namjoon’s voice, you broke down into a sob. You didn’t know if you should be hopeful or panic even more. Your reaction caught the man’s attention, who walked back to the computer on his desk and woke it up by moving the mouse. The screen lit up with what showed a live camera feed of the entrance of the house where you could see four wolves and two men standing.
Namjoon and Seokjin weren’t turned and you hoped that meant they were willing to talk.
“Show time.” Cheol grinned, rubbing his palms together. “Don’t worry, I’ll let you watch.”
“Stop, please, let me talk to him–” you begged, knowing the chances would be better if Namjoon could see you were okay.
However, the man ignored you. “I'll let you say goodbye later.”
Just like that, you were alone in the room. Fuck, fuck, fuck, you were chanting in your head as you tried to use the rest of your strength to pull on the chains in a futile attempt to free yourself.
You wanted to cry and to scream, but your throat was too closed for you to project your voice enough for anyone to hear, and it wasn’t the time for crying. You never thought about how you were going to die, but this shouldn’t be it. You had plans, you wanted to do things… You still had to give Namjoon an heir.
The computer screen showed Cheol meeting the pack outside, but you couldn’t hear what he was saying. All you saw was Seokjin holding Namjoon back and Hoseok and Yoongi baring their teeths menacingly while Jimin and Taehyung paced from side to side without ever moving their eyes from your kidnapper.
A tiny whine was picked up by your still buzzing ears, followed by a huff that you knew belonged to a wolf. You looked at the window, heart picking up as you crawled on your hands and knees to get closer. Your tied foot jerked uncomfortably as the chain got caught at the foot of the bed, but you were close enough to see through the space between the wood planks.
“Oh my god, Kook!” you gasped in semi relief at seeing your friend outside, sniffing the window. He let out a tiny bark when he heard you, but you didn’t have time to celebrate being found. “Talk to Namjoon! Don’t let him kill that guy! Please, go!”
The wolf must’ve sensed your desperation, for Jungkook darted off to alert his pack alpha. You could almost breathe again when you looked over your shoulder and at the computer screen–
“No!” you yelled with the little voice you had left, watching Cheol’s limp body hit the floor; head on an odd angle as Namjoon towered over him.
A second later Jungkook was joining them, but it was too late.
You stopped watching the camera feed when you saw and heard the pack invading the house. With Jungkook leading them, they would find you soon enough. Nothing else mattered now, all you wanted to do was to see your love, to hold him one last time.
Standing up from the bed, you were halfway closer when the door of your cage was kicked open, Namjoon looked ready to fight, unsure what he’d find.
But all he saw was you, broken and hurt.
His arms were around you in a blink, cradling you into his chest. You hugged him with a tight, desperate grip, finally crying and screaming against his body.
“Shh, shhhh.” Namjoon soothed you, but he had tears in his eyes, too. “I’m here, cub, it’s over. I’m going to take you home.”
You shook your head, knees wobbling and arms giving out. Your cries turned into sobs that made your whole body quiver as you lost the little strength you had, unable to keep yourself standing up.
Even as Jimin took a chunk out of the chain with his powerful jaws, setting you free, your body gave out; knees bending and sliding down Namjoon’s body to hit the floor.
Namjoon was confused as he held you to break down your fall, kneeling with you on the hard surface as he pleaded:
“What’s wrong? Baby, what’s going on?!”
“Snake bite.” was all you managed to say, moving your left arm. “No antidote.”
You weren’t making much sense, didn’t have time to explain the whole thing and you didn’t want Namjoon to feel guilty. He would blame himself if he knew and you couldn’t do that to him.
You couldn’t do anything, in fact, watching the world around you spin over and over and over again. Your only comfort was knowing you were dying in the arms of the man you loved, surrounded by your friends.
Epilogue
“Alright children, have fun.” Seokjin said while pressing the button that automatically closed the booth of his car.
“Oh, we will.” Namjoon chuckled, too proud of himself.
You were shaking your head as you watched Namjoon wheel both of your suitcases out of the curb and onto the stone pathway that led to the entrance of your house. Seokjin was unaffected by his leader’s antics, however.
“Thank you for picking us up at the airport, Jinnie.” you turned to your packmate and opened your arms to call him in for a hug.
“You got it, puppy.” Seokjin teased you with your newest nickname, making you grumble.
It’s been two years since you’ve been turned into a werewolf and welcomed into Bangtan, but the boys still called you by that stupid nickname. Even Jungkook! The boy was just so happy about losing the maknae spot that he went along with the rest of the pack’s clownery.
You knew you still had to earn your stripes as a newborn wolf, but you were the mate of the alpha of the pack! Did that mean nothing?
“Hyung, please don't get your scent all over my wife.” Namjoon spoke with a low tone, the same one that he used to turn your knees into molten caramel, but it had little to no effect on the older man.
“Don't pretend you won't love this excuse to cover me with yours.” you pointed out after letting go of Seokjin and waving him off.
Namjoon didn’t deny your claims, but kept pushing your honeymoon luggage across the path until he reached the front door. Excited to get home after two weeks of traveling, as a recently married couple, you followed Namjoon.
“Hey, what are you doing?” your husband stopped short to look at you coming up the front porch.
“Coming home?”
“You can't–do you know nothing about traditions?” Namjoon looked baffled, using a hand to stop you. “Stay right there.”
You were confused as hell, but obeyed him anyway and stayed on the same spot. Your arms were crossed as you watched him unlock the front door –after dropping the keys on the first try– and bring your luggages inside. Then, when you were the only thing left, Namjoon skipped back outside and towards you.
Before you could ask if you could finally move, his arms were circling around you and he was lifting you off the floor. You hugged Namjoon by the neck, giggling when he turned the two of you around to walk the short steps into the home with you in his arms.
One of his hands went to the back of your thigh to wrap a leg around his waist and you followed his lead to link both ankles behind his back. The groan you received was one of satisfaction.
Namjoon closed the door shut behind the two of you, choosing to press your back against the wood instead of putting you down. This was a move you knew well, one you didn’t mind in the slightest. Your hand found its way into his hair, tangling in his dark locks to pull and make him bare his neck to you.
“Pretty.” you whispered, eyes tracing the mate mark on the junction of his neck and shoulder.
“You did a good job on it.” Namjoon praised, but his eyes were on your cleavage and not on your own mate mark.
“So did you.”
The mark on your neck meant a lot more to you than a simple imprint that bound you to Namjoon forever. Yours meant, quite literally, your new chance at life. You had received it on the same night you thought you were going to die, on the floor of a crazy man’s bedroom, with snake venom coursing through your veins.
You didn’t see how it happened, you passed out before you had the chance to, but when you woke up again –in your own bed this time–, the pack told you what happened. Instead of letting you die, Namjoon did the only thing he could do to save you, and that was turning you into a werewolf.
You were in great pain when you came out of it and it was a long and hard journey for you to discover your new body, new skills, for you to shift for the first time. But you had seven pack mates to guide you through every challenge.
You gave Namjoon his mate mark the night he asked you to marry him.
“Come here.” you rested your hand on the back of his neck, pulling him in and closer to you.
Namjoon’s lips were half parted when his mouth met yours, allowing his tongue to slip into your mouth and search for yours. Your breathing instantly dropped, becoming heavier. You dragged your tongue over his in slow, teasing flicks that made him press you harder against the door.
His hands were on your ass, squeezing your flesh and making your little white dress –a color you’ve been wearing a lot more these the last two weeks– ride up and reveal more of your skin to his greedy touches. Namjoon could easily handle you with his extra bit of strength, positioning you low enough so that his middle was pressing against yours.
The hardness that was already forming inside his pants started rubbing deliciously against your panty covered pussy. You swiveled your hips harder, moaning into Namjoon’s mouth as you humped him as if you were in heat.
Fuck, your heats. They had already synced with Namjoon’s ruts and, boy, was that a good time.
“Shit, you smell fucking good.” Namjoon praised, pulling his swollen lips from yours. His head tilted backwards, eyes closed as he took deep breaths of your natural scent mixed with your arousal.
“So do you, my love.”
You groaned, sounding like a tiny growl, and latched your lips onto the newly exposed tanned skin. Now that you were a werewolf, you understood the whole scent-craze. You learned that Namjoon smelled of late afternoon hikes, new books and green meadows, a few spots on his skin tasted sweeter than others.
Your favorite spot to kiss was just under his ear, on the right side, where you were now drawing circles against and dragging your teeth over and over again.
“Baby, we need to move or I’m going to fuck you right here.” Namjoon threatened, as if you’d be against that.
“I don’t mind that.” you moaned, tugging at his hair. “Turn me around and fuck me from behind.”
Your words made Namjoon hump you harder, making you clench and wish he was inside you already. But then he said:
“I would love nothing more, but I want the first time we fuck in our home, as husband and wife, to be on our bed.” his eyes were glowing yellow as he looked at you, and you knew yours were too. “But we can definitely come back to this later.”
“I like your plan.” you giggled, hugging the man by the neck and pressing your tits against his chest. “Take me upstairs, baby.”
Your husband didn’t need to hear it twice, peeling you from the hardwood and turning around so fast that you almost got dizzy. He did not put you down, instead carrying you all the way upstairs and into your room.
The smell of fresh linen and your favorite peony candle was still so strong it felt like home. You didn’t have much time to dwell on it, or on how nice it felt to be in your nest again after what felt like ages, before Namjoon was all but throwing you on the bed.
You squealed softly as your back met soft sheets and familiar mattress, legs parting open on your fall. Namjoon had a smug tug on his lips as he ate you with his eyes, hands touching the inside of your thighs to hook on the dips of your hips and pull you closer to the edge of your bed.
“Do you have any idea how hard it was to spend twelve hours on that plane, next to you dressed like that,” he nodded at your dress; the tight fabric that hugged your curves, cinched your waist and pushed your tits up. “And not be able to drag you into the bathroom and fuck you sensless?”
“You could have.” you shrugged, parting your legs wider in invitation. “I was dying to get on my knees and suck you off, right in the middle of first class.”
“Fucking hell, cub–”
Namjoon’s hands found the waistband of your panties, pulling them down your legs in a haste until your bottom half was bare for his enjoyment. His chest was rumbling with happiness, making you laugh at how eager he was. As if he hadn’t had you in months. When less than 24 hours ago, you were in a very similar position to this.
He wasted no more time before dropping to his knees on the floor, hands slipping under your ass to pull you flush against his face. Like a starved man, Namjoon’s mouth met your pussy, tongue slipping easily between your folds. He dragged it up and down, swallowing your slick and humming against your cunt.
Your hand found his hair just as the tip of his tongue found your clit. As Namjoon drew slow patterns against your swollen nub, circling and flicking it, you pulled on his locks as if trying to ground yourself. Your feet found perch on his shoulders, as you couldn’t reach the edge of the bed, using him as support to grind your hips up and down.
“That’s it, baby, ride alpha’s face.”
Your back was bowing and arching off the bed as you moaned out from the vibrations of Namjoon’s growls and how good his mouth felt. The flat of his tongue felt so nice and slippery against your pussy that you couldn’t help but use it to slide your clit up and down.
“Fuck, alpha…” you cried out in pleasure as you felt your orgasm coming miles away, in lighting speed. “Can I cum? Please, please, I need–”
Namjoon’s grip on your ass was hard enough to sting, the pleasure-pain bringing you even closer to the edge.
Cum for me, omega. The order was clear, bouncing in your mind as Namjoon’s mouth was too busy.
You screamed his name into the room, thighs clamping around his head as you tensed and relaxed all at once, body twitching as your lower stomach contracted. You felt the orgasm all over your body, ending on your curling toes.
Namjoon licked you slowly through your high, teasing your entrance with his tongue and swallowing your juices, but ignoring your clit in order to avoid triggering your oversensitivity.
When he finally pulled his mouth away from your cunt, his lips were swollen and shiny and you were ready for more.
Your husband stood up slowly, like a predator ready to strike.
“Come here and taste yourself.” he called with the wave of two fingers, knowing what it did to you.
Your legs were trembling and your arms felt weak as you sat up and raised your body to kneel on the bed. You didn’t bother fixing your dress as it was bunched around your waist, reaching for Namjoon with eagerness. You sucked on his bottom lip, hands on either side of his neck, as he gave your ass cheek a slap before filling up the whole hand with your flesh.
You licked around Namjoon’s mouth and gave his tongue a gentle suckle, tasting yourself from his lips. One of your hands traveled down his body to palm at his hardness, fingers tracing its length and giving it a nice squeeze.
“I would rather taste myself somewhere else.” you mumbled against his lips, swallowing the moan that he let out.
“Be a good cub for me and maybe I’ll let you.” his smirk could be felt against your mouth, making you clench around nothing and feel more of your wetness sticking on the inside of your thighs.
“I’m always a good cub for alpha.” you whined, pliant.
Namjoon reached for your mouth again, but you pulled away at the last second, making him chase your lips and growl when you were out of reach. You were smiling as you shook your head, hands reaching for the hem of his shirt to pull it off. He helped you rid him of his top, throwing the shirt on the floor and pushing his shoulders back.
“Are you sure you’re all mine?” you couldn’t help but marvel as you looked at his strong chest, lines and ridges of his torso.
“In this life and the next.” he gushed, cheesy.
“I want you in the one after that, too.” your hands were on his stomach as your lips met his chest.
“How about all of them?” he summed it up with a small smile, eyes fluttering as you continued to kiss all over his pecs, paying extra attention to the birthmark he carried on the right side.
“You got yourself a deal.”
You were still covering his tanned skin in kisses as both of your hands reached for his pants to undo the belt, buttons and fly. His phone and wallet were still in his pockets, helping gravity pull the jeans down to pool around his ankles. You started kissing down his stomach, feeling his breath under your lips, until you reached the waistband of his dark boxers.
Aiming your eyes up, you stared at Namjoon’s face as you wrapped your lips around the tip of his cock, through his underwear. You flicked your tongue around the tip, making the wet stain on the fabric bigger.
“Fuck, you feel so good.” one of his hands slipped into his boxers to fish out his cock while the other was on the back of your neck to guide you to him. “Take it into your mouth, baby. Suck on your alpha’s big cock.”
You moaned around him at his command and the lower tone he used, leaving no room for arguments. You relaxed your jaw and parted your lips wider, sucking Namjoon’s cock deeper into your mouth. You swirled your tongue and licked whatever you could reach of him, covering all of it in your spit.
Namjoon’s grasp on the back of your neck got firmer, keeping your head in place as his hips started to move back and forth, using your face much like you’d done to him minutes ago.
So big, alpha… You whined, using your bond to speak into his mind. At least like this, he couldn’t tease you for talking with your mouth full. Want it inside. Please.
“Even as a wolf, you’re still a greedy little cub, aren’t you?” Namjoon sounded breathless as he pulled his hips back enough to make his cock slip out of your mouth.
“I know what your knot feels like now.” you pouted, eyes filled with tears from the stretch of your jaw. “Can’t help but want it all the time.”
Before, when you were human, the two of you knew that trying to take his wolf knot all the way was dangerous. You could hurt yourself really bad, and for that, Namjoon never let it swell inside of you. But now that you were turned, he could. You knew it felt great for him, and maybe even better for you, so you couldn’t help but crave it all the time now.
Namjoon had a hand wrapped around his cock, pumping it slowly as you watched the movements of his hand. You loved how he was using your spit to cover his cock and fuck his fist.
“Do we still have any condoms in the bathroom or should I run to get the suitcases?” he asked you while holding his base and stroking his tip with his thumb.
“What if we didn’t wear one?” you offered, feeling your heart speed up.
“You want me to pull out?” Namjoon asked, already excited. But then you were shaking your head and he went a little pale.
“I think we’re ready.” you spoke softly, reaching for his free hand. “I’m ready.”
You hadn’t talked about this in what felt like ages, and for good reason, too.
Once upon a time, you and Namjoon had decided it was time to start trying to have a baby, to start your family. But on the same night you were about to try for the first time, you almost died. Actually, you did die, for a minute or two before Namjoon managed to bring you back to life with his werewolf bite.
After that, the two of you had a lot to do; the covering up of a kidnap and murder, you had to learn how to be a wolf and what it meant to be part of a pack. Then came the engagement, mate marks, getting the wedding together, then your honeymoon… But now you knew it would be a good time to start thinking about it again. You weren’t exactly ovulating tonight, nowadays that came along with your heats, but it didn’t mean it wouldn’t be nice to try.
To mark this new phase in your lives in a way that would make it extra special.
“Are you sure, cub?” Namjoon reached for your waist, pulling you into his naked body and holding you close. “We can wait, we have our whole life.”
“I know.” you nodded, gently bumping your nose against his. “But I want to. Do you want to?”
The reply you got was a full body tremble and a tighter hug. Namjoon’s eyes were closed as he found your neck, kissing your mate mark and tracing it with his tongue while his hands found your dress and started to raise it up and off your body.
You could practically feel his cock throb against your hip, resisting the urge to reach for it and start sucking him off again. Instead, you let Namjoon kiss you as slowly as he wanted, touching your body everywhere, before commanding:
“Present yourself to me.” Namjoon was holding your chin, eyes glowing a beautiful golden hue. “You know how to do it, don’t you?”
“Yes, alpha.” you nodded and whined.
Presenting to your mate, to your alpha, was one of the things Namjoon was the most excited about teaching you. You knew he always like to fuck you from behind, but now you understood why that was his favorite position.
It meant that you were completely submitting to your mate, giving yourself to him in the most primal way.
The feminist in you wanted to scoff when you heard about it for the first time, but a tiny and new part of you was very excited. Your wolf was excited. And who were you to deny her that little treat?
Namjoon gave the side of your thigh a little squeeze and you turned around to crawl on hands and knees to the middle of the bed. You swayed your hips from side to side, stretched like a cat to put up a show for your man. When you decided you’d teased him enough, you settled with your knees parted and your elbows on the mattress.
“Fuck yeah, what a good omega.” Namjoon sounded like he was jittering with excitement, barely able to hold himself back when he joined you on the bed. His dirty words came with a slap on your pussy: “I’m ‘bout to stuff this tiny little cunt so fucking full of my cum.”
“Mmhmmm.” you whined, forehead touching the soft cotton sheets. “Breed me, alpha.”
Namjoon’s big hands grabbed both ass cheeks harshly, squeezing your flesh and opening you up for his greedy eyes to stare. You felt the tip of his cock nudging your clit, making you gasp and hold onto the bedding.
“You’ll look so pretty carrying my pups.” he groaned, moving his hips back and forth to lather his tip with your slick. “They are going to be alphas, too. Maybe a little omega girl, sweet like her mother.”
“We can have as many as you want.” you whined, pushing your hips back to try and feel more of him. That’s when you felt his thumb rolling your clit and you were about to lose your mind. “Namjoon, please, just– ohh, fuck!”
With one swift movement, Namjoon pushed his cock into you, stretching your walls to make room for the thick, long member. You dropped your shoulders and tried to breathe through your nose as he held you down by the tops of your thighs to push inch by delicious inch into your slippery pussy.
You were so wet that you could hear yourself sucking him in, clenching around his length. Namjoon agreed as he said:
“Never had a pussy so wet.”
“And you never will.” you gritted, a new possessive side coming out.
The man laughed and pushed the rest of his cock all the way in, pelvis hitting your ass with a slap. “That’s right, cub. Claim your alpha.”
“Mine.” you groaned, squeezing his cock with your walls on purpose. “All mine.”
Namjoon leaned down, using one of his hands on the bed to hold part of his weight off of you, but you still felt him all over your back, skin against skin, caging you in. His mouth was kissing between your shoulder blades, teeth nipping you gently.
“And you’re mine.” he praised, tasting your sweaty skin. “My cub, my omega, my wife.”
“Only yours–”
Air was knocked out of you at the pull of his hips, dragging his cock all the way back, only to be buried inside you even deeper. Your jaw fell slack as you closed your eyes, focusing on every stroke, every drag of his cock that massaged your sweet spot, every jerk of your body that made your tits bounce underneath you.
You were chanting yes, yes, yes with every snap of his hip that dragged you closer and closer to your next orgasm. Namjoon was nosing at your back, kissing everything that he could, marking you with his teeth. Your ass was a little sore from his previous slaps and the constant hitting of his hips against your sensitive and already swollen skin, but you wanted more.
“Fuck, you’re big–” you moaned out the words, little ‘ah ah’s in between each one.
“Doesn’t sound like you’re complaining.”
Namjoon peeled himself from your back to kneel behind you, planting one foot on the bed, muscular thigh beside your hip, to move faster. You could match his stamina now, pushing your ass backwards to rub against him and ride his cock as he fucked you hard and deep.
“Love being stuffed by my alpha.” you mumbled, a little past delirious. “Never been so happy.”
You must’ve said something right, as Namjoon pulled out of you completely and handled you like a doll. He flipped you on the bed so your back was pressed against the mattress and he was towering over you. As you pushed your hair out of your face, your husband held his cock and pushed it inside you again, as if he’d never been out of you in his life.
Your legs were hoisted up as he almost folded you in half, holding you against him. Your hands went into his hair as you searched for his mouth to kiss him hard and deep, desperation clear in the smacks of your lips and rolls of your tongues.
One of his hands slipped between your legs and his fingers found your clit, rolling it with the same speed as his strokes.
“Wanna look at you as I make you cum.” he explained the change in position, kissing your bottom lip before pulling his face back to look at your face contorting in pleasure. “Wanna see you as I fill you up to the brim. You’re gonna hold it in, won’t you? Keep alpha’s cum nice and warm? Let it breed you?”
“Yes, alpha, yes… So close, please don’t stop–”
Your back was arching off the bed with the new angle of Namjoon’s thrusts, skilled fingers knowing just how to touch you to make you clamp down around him, cumming so hard your cunt sucked his cock impossibly deeper into you. Namjoon’s head fell against your chest, lips finding your breasts to suck a nipple into his mouth.
You were squirming and whining underneath him, taking every jerk of his hips as you came around his throbbing cock. Namjoon pulled back one last time before burying inside of you and completely stilling, the most beautiful growls and moans dropping from his lips as his cum exploded in warmth inside you.
“Are you ready, cub?” he asked against the other breast he was abusing with his mouth. “Alpha’s gonna knot you.”
You nodded dumbly, sucking a deep breath as you felt the base of Namjoon’s cock swallow impossibly large, making him feel even bigger. The stretch was always surprising, no matter how many times you’ve gotten stuck in this position.
When Namjoon’s head hid in the crook of your neck, you knew it was done. You hugged him by the shoulders, kissing whatever you could reach of his face. Your nails were scratching patterns on his back and you wrapped your legs around his hips to find comfort.
“You good?” he asked oh so eloquently, brain as slow as yours.
“I’m good.” you giggled, giving his shoulder a playful bite. “Better than good. That was hot.”
“I agree.” Namjoon chuckled against your throat, almost tickling you. “We should do it again.”
“Wanna do this for the rest of our life?” you asked, feeling him nod against you.
“And then some.”
