Alpha Primus has got to be the conceptually funniest character in 40k. From any outside pov it looks like this walking nuke acts like a sullen teenager dragged along on a roadtrip by an overly enthusiastic dad. But with insider knowledge... it's actually exactly the same, except played completely straight?
Like, what do you mean he did actually not ask to be made? What do you mean he loves and hates his dad? What do you mean he is literally put together wrong? What do you mean "his soul is not properly attached to his body"?!
Guy Haley made a tragic demigod by weaponizing the feeling of being 15 years old on a bad day, and gave him the same exact tools for dealing with it, so now there is three-meter tall slab of grey ceramite listening to Linkin Park in the corner of the room.

Alpha Primus/Reader
Just started Belisarius Cawl: The Great Work and I'm loving the dynamic between Cawl and Primus Alpha from the jump.
Warhammer 40k is pretty much just a series of stories about all the different ways dads can be awful.
Some Warhammer 40k doodles because I started reading 'The Great Work' and feel like I gotta get the ideas out before continuing because life sure is a struggle like that
