From Job 1:13-19, we see that Job has received bad news concerning his livestock and all that he had- his business. However, he still said 'May the name of The Lord be praised'. We must act like Job in chapter 1. When we receive a bad report; when we hear things we don't want to hear and when our life situations changes in a flash, we should still be able to fall to the ground In worship like Job did, and say "naked I came from my mother'a womb and naked I shall depart. The Lord giveth and The Lord taketh away; may the name of The Lord be praised". Job 2:7 is where the devil strikes Job with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head. In verse 9 Job's wife tells him to curse God and die. Yet he replied that she was talking foolishness because good comes from God. Whether experiencing pain physically or spiritually, in the midst of all disappointment, we must learn to keep silent and bless God. Although He is Almighty, He still wants to be blessed by His sons and daughters. You can bless God through speaking Christ to people, speaking to God, being faithful or even keeping your body holy because that is a spiritual act of worship- Romans 12:1. But most importantly bless God through believing in the plans He has for you. No eye has seen, no ear has heard and no human mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him- 1 Corinthians 2:9. It's also great to study the Word. :)
