Sir Philip Anthony Hopkins was Born on December 31st, 1937 in Port Talbot, Glamorgan, Wales to Richard Arthur Hopkins, a baker, and Annie Muriel who is a distant relative of the poet WB Yeats. He is an only child.

Anthony Hopkins has been married 3 times (1st Petronella 66-72, 2nd Jennifer 73-2002) and has been with his current wife, Stella since 2003. He has a daughter, Abigail from his first marriage, born in 1968.

Anthony’s career debuted at the Royal National Theatre in 1960 and he’s had an illustrious career since and was Knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1993. He’s received numerous life time achievement awards like the ‘Golden Globe Cecil B. DeMille’ award and a BAFTA Fellowship.
