He had the best little brother in the world. Edward turned towards the mirror and adjusted the scarf. He nodded in satisfaction, thinking the scarf made him look quite a bit taller. "Here, present from me." Edward handed a package wrapped in blue tissue paper to Alphonse. An apron sat inside, because Alphonse had mentioned needing one for the kitchen work.
It took Edward half a day just to pick it out and it would taken him longer if the store attendant didn't come and assist him. When he mentioned Alphonse's obsession with cats, the attendant insisted this apron would be perfect. "No complaints, now. You know I am bad at giving people presents." Edward stared at his gift, wondering for the fifth time if an apron covered with pictures of cats was really something Alphonse wanted.
