@alpinesquid ‘s Strolling and Lookarider since I had an ask or two about them that I left unanswered, but drawn in the Splatoon manga style ft. weird hands.
Bonus older sketch:
Ok lmao don’t me but I have a minor question about the inkblot disease, after the infected reach the final stage is it possible that they (or at least some) might retain some form of memory from before like a song, for example calamari inkantation, and when played will become passive for a few moments recollecting vague spaces of words they feel they’ve heard but don’t know before going back into a frenzy??
OH YES, I LOVE THE IDEA YOU’RE THINKING!!The infected may have some sort of nostalgia from the music, slowly regaining their memories but not fully. Eventually, it’ll become passive and controlled. However, the effect of calamari inktation may cause the infected inkling/octoling to mentally break down from the sight of seeing themselves turned into a monster; the point they wished to forget. It’s rarely likely to regain themselves back together, I mean imagine finally regain your usual self along with some recalled memories, but then you see yourself into something…horrible. That sounds pretty messed up, right? As for a single infected cephalopod, it’ll be quite traumatic for the poor thing. Confused and scared.Yet for the Cephamalagam, it’s much, MUCH worse.
Hearing the thoughts and memories of thousands of strangers amalgamated, not to mention so many voices overwhelming you. You then realized not only deluged to many other cephalopods, but seeing yourself turned into an abomination. Soon enough everyone, all combined together, came into realization one by one, go into a mass hysteria.T͙̦̬̲̦ͅh͕͕͍̳̲͈e̥͚̼̥̦ ͡sc̭r̵̪̩̗̗̞e͔̼̘̩̣̖̦͠a̬͈̝͎͎̣m͚̬̳͍͈͟ị̴̭͚̫̝n̪̫̦͍g̛ w̢̜ò͓̖ṇ̨'̡͇͖͎̣̭̘t͔̳̯̞̠̜̝ ̸̣̳̪̗̣̹s̞̣͡to̧͇͈p̫̝͡
SO YEAH, in short, calamari inktation won’t work too well you’re dealing with many squids and octos mixed together in large populous numbers.
Oh dang I completely forgot to post this picture of a really cute squid I drew for @alpinesquid like a month ago- I swear I'm gonna colour it at some point I promise ;;
Happy birth!

I've got to ask, has Miitopia got a lot more things to do then Tomodachi life? I loved that game but after a while I ended up doing everything, however Miitopia has got my interest but I don't want to jump in and finish it all in like a week, so from the demo you think that it has a lot more content?
Oh, for sure. First of all: there’s achievements. Like, LOTS. I think over 200 from the looks of it, and like 50? maybe, exclusive to each of the classes provided in the demo, but from what I’ve read, there’s like... twice as much in the full version that we don’t know about yet, only Japanese players know because Miitopia has been out in Japan since December.
Second of all: you can literally customize ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. Every single NPC is able to be customized right at your fingertips. The only thing ever set in stone is your characters’ classes! You can’t change that.
I even bought myself Tomodachi Life yesterday and will be getting it tomorrow in the mail JUST so I can actually write more comparisons. Like, for the sake of showing people what’s different now.
There’s still that baseline with like, the relationship events, but I feel like there’s just a lot more already in this demo than there is in Tomodachi Life in general because it’s taken in the RPG elements and really made them important to the plot. I’m STILL playing the demo because each day there’s a questionnaire I get to answer for game tickets (important currency found in treasure boxes and through amiibo scans, which, by the way, give you tons of exclusive outfits like every single inkling’s outfit + even just a straight squid costume and TONS of animal crossing outfits etc, I have tom nook’s sweater!), and I’m still beating achievements!
To me, this game is amazingly fun. I think it’s really, really great, and the music is to die for.
Some of my favorite tracks:
World 1 Battle (Reminds me of a Splatoon turf war theme)
Travelling Sage (Reminded a friend of mine of Machine Village from Nier)
So I think it’d be worth getting if you were thinking of getting it! Hope this helped (and made sense, omg)!
Footsteps could be heard running towards Camille as a familiar voice shouted out "CAMMY!" And Celeste launched herself through the air to hug Camille and almost tackle her down to the ground. After a few swings of uncertainty, the two stood face to face and with a wide smile Celeste said "Happpppppy birthday!!"
Camille’s fast reflexes let her catch her friend and effortlessly hold her up in a big, appreciative hug, “Celly! You totally shouldn’t have but I knew you would remember my birthday! I hope you and Willy and Auntie Robin can make it to my party, Daddy and Mommy are going all out this year!”
