Finally reached the grassland in the Alpine zone after crossing the India's last village towards Tibet. Actually the tourists are not allowed in Chitkul Wildlife area because of BSF security for China border, we had the special permission from forest department. This is actually the part of Baspa river valley which is the extended part of Sangla valley. Really I was just spellbound with the beauty of Kinnaur, in the winter season I couldn't see this properly due to snowcover. While coming back we found some gujjars with their horses...it was really enchanting moment to make it as a frame combined with grasses, horses and snow capped mountains together. SEWING IS ART I finally got off my ass and sewed my "2000 Miler" rocker patch onto my pack. I ALSO made two new outfits for summit stewarding. The bosses can shake their heads if they want but I think they look good.
