Life Alert || Wings and Things

Tink was home and she was bored. Which really wasn’t anything new. Without Sophie around the flat felt empty and she quickly ran out of things to do. That feeling was doubled with a broken leg. She was basically an invalid and it was literally the worst thing in the world. What was she supposed to do? Lay around all day and watch television? That was boring. So boring.

So she did the best thing she knew to do. Texted Peg. It had been a quick conversation. Peg was gonna come over and Tink was gonna offer a huge ass bed for cuddles and snacks. There’d be movies too. Lots and lots of movies. Though, Tink would probably fall asleep. Always did when she was cuddled up with someone and not high as a kite.

First, though, she had to gather the snacks. A difficult task without her crutches but Tink was a determined fairy. If she could keep her wings out she could stay balanced. Or at least that was the theory. She’d never broken a leg before so this was all new territory. It sounded like a good idea though and that was what mattered. 

Or it mattered until she lost her balance and ended up on the floor halfway to the kitchen. She cursed lowly as she struggled to get up but only managed to fall again. She’d be there until Peg got there, she supposed. And wouldn’t that be fuckin’ fun. So when she heard the door open, she grinned and splayed herself even more on the floor. “Help! I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!” She called out pathetically.
