Do you ever think about how there are no grown up looking elves in The Santa Clause. Like, all the elves look like their kids right? Bernard is said to be the eldest elf and the actor playing him at the time was 15. In the second TSC movie bernard tells another elf that "you are 900 years old, grow up!" This elf looks to be 9 years old. So i think it's safe to assume Bernard is 1,500 at the time of the first movie. Most humans stop believing in santa by age 15. And according to the movie any belief in santa or magic is lost by adulthood.

What I'm getting at is, bernard died before the events of the 3rd movie because elves in TSC universe die when they become too old for santa and magic. :) that's why all the elves look like kids and dont live past 1,800.

It’s been a couple of days since the twins were born and an amazing couple of days that is. I’ve been waking up a bit earlier than usual in the mornings to cook breakfast for the boys (yes, that includes Jay; I swear he is just a big kid) before I run off to work.

I dashed upstairs to say goodbye to the boys before I left for work, but Roy was in desperate need for a bath and Jay wasn’t up yet so I took this duty for myself. 

“Hey little man, d’you want bubbles?” I grinned as he squeaked in agreement. I quickly filled the bath up and his eyes lit up in wonder as the bubbles rose. He climbed in excitedly; splashing around. I scrubbed him from head to toe whilst he attempted to talk to me.

“W-work what do?” He tilted his head, looking at me with intense curiosity. I furrowed my brow; how could you explain an office job to a toddler?

“Uh, I... draw a lot and talk to a lot of people,” I laughed, this was the first thing that came to my head. Roy gave me a lopsided look, clearly confused.

“Don’t worry baby, it’ll make sense when you get older,” I ruffled his hair, carrying him back to his room before rushing out the door to make sure I got to work on time. 

Jay and Bernard have been getting on a lot more these past couple of days, I don’t know what has changed but Bernard has generally been more accepting of company.

Overall, things are well in the Bianco household, let’s hope they stay that way.
