i don’t think anything needs to be said after i dropped off simblr back in august but for my own peace of mind i’m bringing this blog to an end. i don’t feel it’s necessary to give a reason as to why i’m doing this, just take it as it’s been a long time coming.

that being said, i will be deleting a lot of shit from my blog. i’ll be keeping my legacy and downloads up and maybe some other stuff, i don’t know at this point in time.

if you want to stay in contact for whatever reason just hit me up (even though i’m the literal worst at staying in contact)

“Of course I want you over, it’s a sleepover! I thought you’d be over the moon to be within walking distance of all my Dad’s space stuff,”

“You got me,”

“Ha, that’s the Ash I know.”

“Why is the park so quiet? It’s after school, shouldn’t people be here?” As she slowed the speed of the swing, she turned to look at the surrounding area. There were a few people here and there - a couple setting up a picnic, parents wandering by with their children; though it was no quieter than it usually was.

“Isn’t it good that it’s quiet? Everything is kept nice and clean, the wildlife is left unharmed-”

“Sparrow, there’s hardly any wildlife around here,” She interjected, standing up from the swing and making her way behind me. I was always fascinated by how she held herself; every step she took had a clear, defined purpose.

“None that you can see,” I tilted my head back to her, making her break her facade as I poked my tongue out.

“What’s out there then?” As if it were a subconscious movement, she began to push me on the swing, proving that she was a lot stronger than I’d originally anticipated.

“There’s so much out here, Ash! I once ended up feeding and taking care of like two generations of lorikeets,”

“Is that so?”

“Yes! All the beetles, bugs and butterflies-”

“Isn’t that a reference of something?”

“Mmmaybe.”

“Sparrow! There you are, I swear you delayed the entire bus,” Ash called from her seat, having to raise her voice over the chatter behind her.

“My bad, I can only walk so fast,” I retorted, taking a seat beside her.

“Can’t your Dad make you a jet pack or something? I swear at this point you need it,” She hit my arm playfully, grinning as I rolled my eyes.

“Well I’m so sorry I like to take my time walking, there’s a lot to see you know,” I exhaled, adjusting myself in my seat. While I couldn’t have enough of the sights the surrounding forests had to offer, it really did a number on my legs.

“Whatever you say, Sparrow. Anyway, are we still on for this arvo?” She smiled expectantly, her eyes lit up in anticipation.

“Of course, I could never pass up a day with you.”
