one of my fav hcs is that when george meets max's cats, jimmy takes a liking to him. and if george comes along with a dog, he does morning runs at like 5 in the morning and jimmy takes interest in it. so george goes running with his dog and jimmy and max has near daily freak outs about george taking jimmy because they're not outside cats. jimmy has a vest and collar and it's adorable

also, since george is already awake, he takes care of feeding the animals so max gets a couple more minutes to sleep, which he doesn't even realize until suddenly he has angry cats screaming the house down for breakfast again

one of my absolute favorite tropes! Tbh, I’m more partial to Sassy being obsessed with George (maybe because they’re namesakes?), but I’m definitely fine with both options. I can totally picture George feeding Jimmy and Sassy, always sneaking them extra treats behind Max’s back (“They’ll get fat!” Max says), buying them an obnoxious amount of cat toys, and just generally spoiling them rotten. Also, the idea of them wearing little vests with collars is just too cute 🥹🥹🥹

being an Artemis Fowl fan since 2022, and disappointed about the movie, i was so delighted when i found out about Number Five from Umbrella Academy, who has a very similar personality to Artemis.

i started watching Umbrella Academy just yesterday evening and Five is obviously now my favourite character… three years too late, though, hehe

if you enjoy one of the shows/books but haven’t heard about the other, i highly recommend doing so! look below for a quick almost spoiler-free synopsis on both!

Artemis Fowl is a 13 year old criminal mastermind. Yes, you heard me right. He has an IQ above 200, but follows in the footsteps of his father by getting money on the wrong side of the law. ‘Aurum est potestas’ (Gold is Power) is his motto. The Umbrella Academy is a group of children born at exactly the same date and time, and bought by an old guy called Mr. Hargreeves. These seven children all have magical powers that allow them to fight bad guys. Mr. Hargreeves, their ‘father’, gave them all numbers from one to seven, and got their ‘mother’ to give the children real names. Two of the seven children are now gone—Ben Hargreeves passed at a young age, and Five Hargreeves/Number Five (I think he’s unnamed, but idk I only watched the first 3 episodes so far) went missing after an argument with his ‘father’ about the former wanting to time travel. Five later comes back (obviously, what else would happen?), and is apparently 58 years old stuck in the body of a 13 year old. (Time travel. Don’t question it.) He’s now a little shit to the rest of his siblings, but that’s kind of reasonable because the apocalypse is coming and ‘wE dOn’T hAvE tImE fOr ThIs!’. Sometimes the lieutenants felt left out when their captains reunited with the other members of their team. They were happy for them of course! They obviously missed their friends, and it was great to see them reunited. Sometimes they missed the one on one time, and yet...When Wash called them into whatever they were doing, when Donut tried to give them makeovers, when Sarge started calling them "baby reds" they felt more a part of the team then they ever did.
