i just realized that we DEFINITELY need more fics that pick up Red’s Mako Tanida-monologue with the whole “first thought after you wake up”-business. that was such good content. what a trope. ressler slowly falling for red and one morning he wakes up alone and his first thought is how he wishes red would stay the night for once. then he feels guilty about thinking that, his mind automatically going to audrey. then the oxy. then audrey again. but at least she’s not his first thought in the morning anymore.
