For a small handful of hours now, Shiro’s been debating with himself on what to do. Today has been... hectic, to put it lightly, and he wants to make sure that everyone is okay. The other Paladins have been easy enough, their experiences frightening, but nothing that can’t be worked through with relative ease. His own, he refuses to even think about. But Allura... She unquestionably got the worst of what the day had to throw at them.
“Princess--”
Mind made up, he calls out to her as he steps back onto the bridge, eyes quick to find her. Concern is heavy in his features, but he approaches slowly and with some level of caution, not entirely certain that she’ll want to talk to him right now. ...Or ever.
Allura lost her father for a second time today, this time for good. No echo of him remains this time. And not only that, but... she had to destroy his AI herself. Shiro knows the loss of a parent and the emotional pain it brings, but he can’t even imagine how much worse it must be in circumstances such as hers. There’s no way that she’s okay right now, and while they maybe don’t know each other remarkably well yet, he does care deeply about her, the same as he does the other Paladins. He wants to help her any way that he can, whether it’s talking things through with her, or even simply offering comfort.
Just... anything.
“...How are you doing?”
