Control question: Can animals affect the Collective Unconscious (The Astral Plane)? Presumably not, right? Surely otherwise the archetypal concepts that create altered items would be much more obscure to us. Then again, maybe that's what causes the existence of items where the symbol and the abilities don't seem to coriliate in any obvious way
