happy to say that first journal game project by kossai is now complete !

player is put in shoes of faerie , who fall in love with human . faerie must now try to navigate these feelings , and make efforts to form romantic bond .

please heed disclaimer ! given basis in various faerie stories and experiences , some dynamics this game can produce might be toxic and cruel - though whether faerie character stagnate and lose human , or grow and do better for human , is player choice . kossai invite players to reroll traits or skip prompts that would be personally unsafe to play with .

whether play and tell stories , or just read documents and allow imagination to wander , kossai appreciate all those who look :)

For 6, im not fully sure. I think when it comes to that, im pretty inline with canon but I kinda remember. Before actually evolving, I would be able to like, preview a form but only in certain conditions. Until one night when I fully evolved against my will. Couldn’t change back 😔

For 10, idk I’ll how weird these are but I’ll give a few

Whenever we go on hikes it reminds me what I think thunderclan territory looks like (a lot of trees, honestly. Maybe a clearing here and there)

I was legitimately stuck in a closed school until 6pm. No staff were present so my mind clicked straight to “im all alone in an empty building… better look out for the animatronics” (at the time i just thought it was my fnaf hyperfixaion)

And I think thats the best answers I can get to fit the question 😊

indeed , there is no happy ending to this game , which tell tale of faerie in denial of human lover's death and hold conversations in which no one can answer .

can play this as tragic followup to faerie thorns faerie roses , or simply standalone , but either way please be aware this is emotionally difficult by design , and not everyone's cup of tea .

this game build off of let me be your [blank] system by maddiemay , with single-player reinterpretation .

umum i saw somecreature else do this so i will too !! rating terms for my being

human - 5/10 , i'm not necessarily opposed to it as it is technically correct ( i'm a type of human descended from felids rather than primates ) , but it's not entirely accurate

alterhuman : 5/10 , the umbrella term most ppl know . i dont mind it , but i feel like it's too vague . yes , i am an alternative kind of human , but that's not how most folk use the term , so i don't use it for myself really

overhuman / humanmore / human+ : 9/10 probably the most accurate umbrella term for myself , i'm a human & more

nonhuman : 0/10 , simply inaccurate . i am human , simply a different kind of human . a human that is also a cat

otherkin : 10/10 , the community i feel most welcome in personally , & kin terms just make sense to me

therian : 7/10 , i love the therian community but it seems everywhere but here & small forums folk are dead set on being the "acceptable" alterhuman community . the palatable ones . i definitely still consider myself a therian , but it's not the most accurate term to describe my experience ( despite it being what i tag most of my posts as )

werecat / ailuranthrope : 9.5/10 , would b my primary label ( it was for quite some time ) if not for the shifting part . i dont feel like i shift to my cat self at all , i just always am a cathuman

hucat / cathuman : 9.9/10 , especially hucat i think its so silly . the only downside is i worry people initially think nekomimi when they think cathuman , when my body is much more catlike than just having cat ears & tail

person : 5/10 , it's fine ig . no feelings negative or positive really

being : 0/10 , fucks with my superiority / deity complex . something about being to me sounds like implied divinity

animal : 10/10 , i sure am :3

creature : 10/10 , see above

critter : 5/10 , depends on how silly im feeling

beast : 5/10 , depends on how aggressive i'm feeling

monster : 2/10 , very rarely will i feel connected to this & it is exclusively a self identification
