Spending some more time in the world of alternate tuning. I've been re-listening to some great math rock music and rediscovering my love for bands like American Football. I love how 3/4 time can feel so melancholy. What do you think?

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the greatest string player but I thought this was a fun little ditty. I retuned this uke to FCFA or something like that and played the drums with my feet as an accompaniment. Not too bad for my first go! Do you know of any cool alternative tunings that I should try? Here’s my latest version of “I’m Ready” by @aliciakeys ...I’ve been messing around with playing this on resonator for about a year I guess. This is my little boy’s favorite song- it’s nice to be able to play him a tune he actually recognizes...as opposed to obscure murder ballads, depression era left wing folk tunes, or super sad blues songs. I recently had a little “breakthrough” with this tune- which came from listening to Chris Whitely, and then reading about how he tuned his guitar! “What is this tuning magic?”, you ask? You tell me! Of course,I’ll spill the beans anyways- if folks are interested!
