DiVE OFFLINE can't be played OFFLINE on PC
Wtf, Capcom. You already Excluded the Capcom Collab event stages despite them having stories, now the PC Version has Always Online DRM without a Console Version in sight!??
WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS!?!?
Full Screencap:
Oh, also you can't transfer your data from the Original DiVE but I don't really care about that, my issue is ALWAYS ONLINE DRM!!!

The Left 4 Dead-like shooter won't launch with an offline mode
In a response to someone asking about why the game says it requires an internet connection on the PSN store, Turtle Rock confirmed there will be no offline mode at launch. Though the studio did add that it is “looking into ways” it could support such a mode in the future. That’s nice, but it doesn’t change the fact that yet another game will be online only for no good reason. I don’t know how Back 4 Blood’s servers will be at launch, but history tells me to expect the worst and that means outages. With no offline mode, this means you won’t be able to play the game, even all by lonesome. This is no good.
Since it’s relevant, this vid by LGR, shows why a lot of people are afraid of Fallout 76′s “Always Online” requirement.
IE, what happens when the servers go off and the company stops supporting it? That’s gonna be a nightmare for game preservation to be sure, and honestly I think that any game company that lets a game die like this should have it forcibly put into the public domain as a punishment.
And, TBH, this is also why I’m kinda afraid of the idea of “streaming” games on the “cloud,” because it could be a similar situation on a much larger scale; on a much more insidious creep...
