Does anyone have any advice on how to like... not anxiously anticipate things you’re not looking forward to? I’m moving at the end of the month and I’m sort of really dreading it, but I don’t want it to hang over my head for my last two weeks before moving. I try to keep myself busy and also do things like paced breathing/self-soothing techniques I’ve learned from therapy, but I just can’t seem to stop thinking about the future constantly and it’s definitely making life difficult... all I can see if the shrinking days and I swear I can’t even stand looking at calendars anymore, haha, i just end up feeling panicky and on edge. anyone know of good ways to handle this sort of thing? (or if you know how to make time stop I’m super open to magic and experiments just saying)
