Just the other day I told my sister a joke that went "one of our friends is possessed by an owl" and she was supposed to say "who" cuz ya know. Thats the sound owls make. Instead in about 3 seconds she replied "is is Lauren? (A friend of ours who I guess she feels is particularly owl like.) When I told my mom she said, "why is she possessed by an old white lady (O.W.L.)?!" Finally I told my dad the joke and he got it. 😂 Not sure that's funny to anyone but me, but I hope it helps :)

Who's your favorite Good Doctor character other than Claire and why?

shaun is actually my favorite character, claire is just a very close second. and I love shaun probably bc I relate to him so much and it’s nice to see cannonically autistic characters succeeding and being happy (even if most of it has been temporary so far fml…) but he’s also just very optimistic, which is a quality I wish I had, and I just love him nsjjlfdkjldlkj sorry I suck at being articulate when it comes to my faves.

Captain Marvel made me feel empowered. I appreciated all of the undertones in the show. I appreciated how she faced sexism instead of pretending it wasnt there. I love seeing strong and empowered women characters. I am so excited that these little girls will have a strong woman to look up to! The scene in space (idk how not to spoil) was so sweet. I love those creatures. So many things made a lot of sense. I loved it.

YES YES YES TO ALL OF THESE i am Super Glad that these little girls are actually gonna grow up with soooo many amazing female role models esp in pop cultures which is so important cause its just so damn accessible!!! I LOVE IT THANK YOU FOR SHARING BABES YOURE A GEM!!!!!!

I’m the most comfortable with Cordelia, but I’m willing to give most of Sarah’s characters a shot. (I like Venable too) I’m also always into playing OC’s - either with Evan’s face or Sarah’s.

Devote and emerge!

devote: describe a way in which you made a positive impact on someone else’s year.

This is probably a silly answer, but I think I made a positive impact on my partner’s life this year. We’ve shared so many happy moments together and have laughed a lot and loved a lot.

emerge: describe an experience this year that caused you to mature.

Everything about 2019 caused me to mature. The year started out kind of shitty and things got worse before they got better. I had a lot of highs and lows, but I learned that I’m able to do a lot more than I ever thought I could.

Favorite Christmas movie

There’s a top 3 that are pretty neck and neck, but probably National Lampoon’s Christmas vacation. It’s funny to me no matter how often I see it, and it was one of my grandmother’s faves too. Other contenders would be Home Alone and A Christmas Story.
