Alya hates bullies. She's spent so many nights staying up with her siblings whose bullies have crawled under their skins. She hates anyone who ever belittles anyone else for the sake of a laugh.

And maybe that's why she's attracted to Lila. Because Lila lied when she came to make friends, but bullying stole her voice. Her lies were left open for everyone to scrutinize until she couldn't even talk to someone without being asked if she was the one who lied about knowing Ladybug.

And those who don't outright bully her stare at her warily, question everything she says to the point where she just gives up interaction.

So yeah. Maybe Alya hates being lied to, but she hates having someone's confidence stolen from them even more.
