I haven’t been here because i havent felt like it. Lately some people have caused me to be depressed and like my writing is just crap. I will be back when I actually feel like it. I’m only going to be writing with these people when I get back. I don’t care if you don’t like it, new people seem to make me feel worse about my writing. imsensingatriptoikea

“I’m leaving.” Sonja’s words seemed to echo in their chambers, giving them a cold sort of clarity. Both sisters had known for decades that she intended to leave, escape from their father and start her life anew with Lucian in another kingdom where they could live freely. She’d heard rumours of a new land, untouched by both vampires and lycans to the far west from Lady Amelia. It was there she intended to flee.

“I leave tonight, with him. I found us a ship and a captain that will take us far away from this place. But I do not wish to go without your blessing, sister.”

Michael’s escape from Antigen had not been easy, wearing the hybrid down as he hadn’t fed in what felt like forever. He tried his hardest to make it to safety, and he stumbled upon an old vampire safehouse where he could rest and hide until his body recovered. The blood stored there was most likely expired, but yet he still drank down two bags as he tried to let himself heal. He had almost fallen asleep when the metal door on the safe house opened. A low growl rumbled in his chest as he stood up, weak but ready to defend himself against whoever was coming in.

Never had the instinct been stronger than it was now. The Outside was bright and loud even at night; why was it so bright when it should have been dark? Too many smells. Sharp. Bitter. Tangy. Too much. Just not enough. Unnatural. One sense over-heightened and another dulled just so she could keep on her feet and stay near her mother. A woman in jet black who smelled of strong powder and fresh-split viscera and eyes harder than any type of steel or cage the young hybrid had seen before. Subject T...Eve felt no fear for her. Only the inner desire to trail after Selene until they reached safety.

Eve. She was not Subject Two any longer, she was Eve now.

‘First of your kind. First hybrid child. A real name for your new, real life now.’

David had gone far ahead to keep the path safe for them. Not that they really needed it but his loyalty to them was more appreciated than he knew. Eve continued to follow her mother and even with a clenching stomach she kept up very well for someone so young and shaken from the events of the past night. She wasn’t fooled either. Her mother wanted to find her father, even she could see that. It wasn’t until the sun set for the second time (that she had seen in real time) before her mother looked at her strangely and started questioning her child about her feeding habits. Before she knew it she was going on her first Hunt. Well, she didn’t get to actually hunt but her mother made quick work of a human they found all alone and after getting to feed first, Eve wandered away with a full stomach and a much clearer head. There was so much to see! She wouldn’t go far, her mother would finish feeding, call for her, and then they would continue on. Eve just wanted to look around. She had never been allowed to before.

         IT smiles at her clearly amused, as it was under the impression that it would actually face someone worth facing. Maybe a fight or something, yet she seemed to have just stumbled upon it like most. “I have a few names, why don’t we play a game? Take a guess, and I’ll give you a hint?” Now, it was just going to have some fun.

He stayed in the shadows-why show his face when he could just hide here for a while?-and, of course, trying to hide his bloodied hand when he’d just returned from having a very nice feast. Though from her tone of voice, it wasn’t a request, so he finally slipped out of his nice shadowy hole, flashing her a dazzling smile, while placing his bloodied hand behind his back.

         “Is there anything else I can do for you, Lady Sonja?”  The pixie’s fingers smoothed the edges of the freshly changed linens and blankets on the woman’s four poster bed, gaze flitting back towards the vampire whom she served as a lady in waiting, one of a handful of the Fae that were tasked with caring for Viktor’s childe, one of hundreds, if not thousands of the various Critch indebted to the Elder for his allowing them passage through, and to his lands, seeking refuge from their own war torn province.  “A hot bath, before the court session this evening?  Or perhaps you would like me to do up your hair, a few plaits, my Lady?”
