So that AU I had stuck in my head?

Yeah it was still stuck. So I ended up writing a little bit of a prologue. I blame @imusuallyobsessed for encouraging this. You wanted it, so here you go.

This fic, flashfic, prologue...this thing is the furthest thing from fluff. You have been warned.

It’s been said that we are born alone. We live alone. We die alone. But Oliver never felt alone because he always had Felicity.

But he messed up.

He took the riskiest move yet and put all their eggs in one basket.

He took everything to that deal in hopes of finally catching the drug that hadn’t even gotten the chance to get a street name yet. The drug that had taken over both of their lives that past year.

The plan was simple: Oliver was looking to host the party of the decade and wanted something special to make it unforgettable. But that required a mass quantity purchase...that required every last dollar he and Felicity had scrounged together. But no matter what they could silently hope, it wouldn’t be enough, Oliver knew that. He wanted to find the source of it all; the head that wore the crown. But the only way Oliver could do that would be to start distributing.

He remembers how pissed she had been at him. That was the last thing that had talked, no, screamed about before he went to the deal. It was a lot to bargain with very little potential payoff.

Man, he was stupid.

Everything they had was in his possession. And he lost it. Procuring the drug was supposed to bring them one step closer to ending it all. But that same possession landed him fifteen steps back.

He got locked up.

He left Felicity with nothing and he could only blame himself.

Five years in prison. Six months in the dump that is court-ordered rehab. It’s a long time to think about his past. Waiting each week for the phone to ring. Waiting to hear that Felicity’s okay...without him there to protect her.

He couldn’t focus on what he was trying to read. Not today. The time allotment for outside phone calls was dwindling and he was beginning to assume that this day was going to be like all the rest.

He hadn’t heard from her in a while, but he still called.  But with every week that passed that she didn’t answer, he grew more frustrated. He still needed her to know that he was there, that she was okay, even with the less-than-convenient circumstances they had right now.

“Hey, Queen,” the desk manager yelled from down the hall. “Phone call.”

He felt like he was moving in slow motion just to get to the corded phone hanging from the wall.  He waited with baited breath as he held the phone up to his ear before speaking. Then finally…

“Hello?”

“Oliver...”

He didn’t even give her a chance to go on before he interrupted. “Are you kidding me, Felicity?”

“Listen to me-”

“I have called you every Monday for the past year. Where the hell have you been?”

“Oliver, please.”

He could hear the desperate plea in her voice. It was shaking. Every part of him just wanted to continue to yell; to get answers. But he only had a short amount of time on the line. With great effort he took a breath, grabbing on to the top of the wall-mounted phone and staring at a cracked tile in the floor. “Where are you?”

His question was ignored. Her stuttering breaths giving way to violent sobs as she gave a different statement entirely. “I want to be cremated, okay?” Oliver scrubbed a hand through his hair as his eyes slammed shut. What had she gotten herself into? “I want my ashes dumped in the ocean. I want my soul to be free. Oliver, promise me?”

“I’ll come get you. Just tell me where you are, Felicity, and I’ll come get you. Save it, you can just tell me it all in person-”

“Oliver, please!”

Oliver didn’t get the chance to say anything as the line was filled with her screams followed by a gunshot the echoed in his ears long after the sound ended. His muscles flinched, his body tensing and his hand clenching impossibly tighter around the phone. “...Felicity? Felicity? Fe-” The whispered breath of her name broke off as it felt like his lungs were closing up on him.

Everything fell still. He doesn’t remember the few moments that came next, only brief glances of the orderlies trying to drag him away from the phone as he slammed the phone onto the receiver over and over again screaming a mantra of no.

May I ask what are some wysilee thoughts that plague your mind? Only if you want to share of course :)

i will share some. but others need to marinade in the noggin so that they will turn into a fic.

They are in an autistic/autistic relationship. Maysilee's special interest is fashion and clothing and hair because in a world that she cant control being able to have extreme control over appearance is the way she self sooths/makes her brain work. (this also explains Maysilee's desire for utensils) Wyatt is math autistic and low masking which is why he's Like That.

Morden AU wyatt gets a full ride scholarship to MIT

Morden AU Maysilee is a pageant queen who after she ages out trains girls for pageants. She has ongoing beef with like three separate pageant directors that she will loath until the day she dies.

They watch the Met Gala the way some people watch sporting events.

my favorite thing about them is their near instant, and canonically unspoken agreement to be friends/allies in the fact of Haymitch and Louella teaming up. Like maybe they talked about it. But i fully believe they both just independently decided they were allies, never once discussed it, and were both with the program.

that scene where before training Maysilee adjusts Wyatt's clothing and tells him to stand up straight rewired my brain chemistry permanently.

He walks up to them with something molten sitting in his core that feels an awful lot like anger. It doesn't help that at just that second Jungkook reaches out and squeezes Jihoon’s bicep and then makes a perfect circle with his mouth in surprise and possibly something else.

“You have to be close.” Jungkook is saying just as Mingyu reaches them.

“Maybe, we’ll see,” Jihoon replies with his face bright red as he sees Mingyu. Jihoon gets red easily, he has the skin of a porcelain doll or a vampire love interest in one of those novels Mingyu’s sister likes. Jihoon’s face turns red when he laughs too hard sometimes. (Mingyu loves this fact. Enjoys that Jihoon’s enjoyment can be so visibly seen.) It’s just that this isn’t a “laughed too hard” red or a “danced too long” or even a “slept on one side too long” red, this is a blush. ~~~~~~~ After seeing Jungkook squeeze Jihoon's muscle Mingyu has a bit of a crisis.

Have you ever noticed that when Wei Ying uses the bonding/binding talisman on Lan Zhan he says "Boring" but when it's used on Xue Yang he says "Fun"? Because I just noticed after rewatching The Untamed for the 2nd time and I'm yelling quietly into the void.

Lan Zhan says “boring” cuz that’s his “always” at that point. I mean he does do a little smirk and everything. He’s like “god why do i love this perfect ray of sunshine? conceal dont feel.”

Meanwhile Xue Yang is out here like “bondage when?!”

Xiao Xingchen, Song Lan, Wei Wuxian, and Lan Wangji argueing about who is going to handle this filthy gremlin.

Xue Yang in the background: “Can i get some bondage? CAN I PLEASE GET SOME BONDAGE?!!?!”
