Offspring of a deranged psychic and a venomous vampire, Alyssa grew a reputation as being the enemy and ‘devil spawn’, which caused her to flee and carry on a new identity to hide her true form. Alyssa always knew she was of the darker nature, and liked to dress that way, but after being shunned and after she was exiled, she embraced her origins. Wary of humans, she used to steer clear of them in fear of being found out. However, after discovering the cyber and industrial goth scene, she grew a liking to it all, and decided to join. It took her a while to break from her seclusion and open up to people, but once she did, she realised how accepting the gravers were, and how her true form wasn’t obvious initially. Her eyes are presumed to be contacts and her sharp teeth are presumed to be porcelain dentures, which made it much easier for her to hide amongst her new company.
Alyssa was born in an extremely poor town of Inunaki Village in the country side of Japan, to a poor and deranged community. The only sane being she had comfort from was her father, who did most of the parental duties during her childhood, raising her and teaching her of her true vampiric ways. Her mother, who was an old psychic, neglected the child she bore and her father in order to continue her mad traditions of phony fortune telling for simple or no currency. Due to living in this village, Alyssa was a witness to many horrendous acts of murder, cannibalism and even incest, all of which she also witnessed her disturbed mother partake in. She sought her father for sanity, safety and closure, which he gave her, and when she turned 18, he moved out of that village with her. The two settled in America for a while before migrating to Germany, where Alyssa claimed her independence, eventually finding the cybergoth scene.
Due to her wealthy father, and a rather hefty inheritance from him, Alyssa had money to spare all the time, able to buy gear, clothes and accessories that caught her eye, moulding her true hair into dreadlocks to make it blend with her cyberlocks. Alyssa tends to be alone most of the time, as she is socially awkward and unable to start conversations properly.
As a dhamphir, she lacks bloodthirst like a normal vampire of her father’s type, however, she is nocturnal and doesn’t need sleep to thrive. Inheriting her mother’s sixth sense, Alyssa can read minds and see and sense the dead, the latter of which she cannot control, unlike her mindreading which she can. She possesses serrated teeth like her father, as well as blunt fangs, and toxic bodily fluids. Her toxicity fluctuates like a normal vampire of her father’s species, so it grows highly acidic and corrosive when her emotions turn extreme, but fades to neutral when she’s calm.
