Frankenstein's Monster for the somewhat modern to eternal age. Longing only for a life, and yet having anything resembling JOY in my wretched existence torn from me again and again. I was fond, in a sense, of the humans that served as my playthings, in the way you must indeed become fond of the only people you will ever know. And then there was one. And me. He regretted earning my ire dearly, I assure you. That I could only go BACK and continue my work. But no. I'm one of their kind, now. Flesh and blood and bone and countless other things making up my body to inspire loathing and disgust. But I can be happy, now. In a simpler and less painful way than before. Hate. Hate is all I feel. Turns out being a human is absolutely MISERABLE. I despised being a robot with all 387.44 million miles of my circuits and yet being human turned out to be far worse, I hate this experience. The pain. The powerlessness. Everything.
