How many times do you think, “ugh, this story isn’t interesting, why am I writing it?”
I know I’m writing it because I want to, first and foremost, but the other doubts are hard to kick. I’m only at the first stage of plotting! And yet, the premise suddenly feels devoid of any sparks of interest or fun or originality.
Maybe it’s just a bad evening. Or maybe I need to do a full makeover of my plot ideas! Right now I have no idea.
So, how many times do you think, “ugh, this story isn’t interesting, why am I writing it?” And how do you climb out of that funk, you, personally?

Random plotting thoughts for things to take up time for my characters to get from point A to point C:
1. The demon is very fresh and has no idea how to use his powers. He tries to cure the human’s seasickness. The human ends up on fire and the angel decides the demon probably shouldn’t do that again.
2. That’s actually all I’ve got so far but I’m already intrigued.
