If I had a nickel for every time a duo I obsessed over was formed by a guy with an insane talent that other people see as a miracle but is actually mainly the product of extensive practice since he was a baby basically, who is playful and unserious most of the time but is actually capable of great emotional and psychological depth, and another who is older, more aloof, values his work over almost anything, envies the first guy's talent in the field they share in which he is good enough to have the higest post but still feels imposter syndrome because the other guy exists, and is constantly playfully tormented by said other guy, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice
