amalgaknight theory feels the least likely because we still dont know if DT in deltarune even works the same as DT in undertale to my knowledge
I’m guessing this is in relation to my comment from rahaf’s post, right? I mainly commented that for the bit of every holiday has 1 popular knight interpretation. I’m a dess-knighter myself, but Rudy, carol, and Noelle all have valid knight interpretations after ch 5.
I don’t believe in amalgam knight, both in the sense of it being a Kris-Noelle fusion, and it being DT related. It’s a really cool idea, and I definitely think there’s a possibility for the knight to be a fusion of something, but not in the same way the amalgamates in undertale are. But then again, there’s a possibility for the knight to be anything bc we don’t fucking know enough about it.
I saw it mentioned on Twitter or YouTube I think that “we need to be ok with calling our theories AUs again”. And I agree.
Kris and Noelle amalgamknight is such a cool fucking au idea and I wish it was genuinely taken as such and expanded upon. It doesn’t need to be a theory to be cool, that was like the entire point of undertale AUs. We took a what if situation and ran with it.
“What if sans remembered your genocides and started killing the monsters to try and overpower and stop you” gave us dust sans.
“What if Kris and Noelle fused and pulled some timeline bullshit and were actually the knight” gives us the current amalgamknight theory. And it’s such a banger au idea that I want to see people drawing it more. It doesn’t have to be correct to be fun, that’s the entire point of an au.
I guess what I’m mainly trying to say is, no, I don’t believe the theory and don’t think it’s probable or the way the game is playing out. But it’s such a cool fucking concept that I want to see more of it regardless. And it doesn’t have to be a theory or have to be true to be fun, it can be a what if concept just for the hell of it.
