Today is a much less colorful and interesting place than the ‘60s. At least refrigerator-wise.

I’m finally feeling much more like me. Unfortunately David now has a pretty nasty cold. I’m not sure what/ going on this year there are lots of viruses going on.
We had pretty nice couple of weekends. Two weekends ago, Sarah came to visit and we went around Cedar Falls and to Oktoberfest at the Amana Colonies. We had a bbq since it was warm and built a fire on the fire pit, had some smores.
This last weekend we went to the movies on Friday to watch the original Nightmare on Elm Street. I watched it several times when it came out in 1984 while in high school but for the life of me I just couldn’t remember but bits and pieces of it. It was fun. Then Saturday we went on a ghost tour around Waterloo. It wasn’t great but it was fun nevertheless. Last night, Sunday, I went to a spooky book club in Cedar Falls. Oh and we decorated for Halloween. The 2 blow up decorations are new. They were both store displays, Frankenstein we got last year on Halloween so we didn’t put it up. The cat we just got on Saturday and they both look so cool!!
