I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND
– PERIDOT ( @whirlygem )
YOU DO? YOU’RE SO LUCKY! HOW DO YOU GET ONE OF THOSE?
– YELLOW PEARL ( @amarlllo )
@amarlllo
❝Lookin’ good, champ.❞ Amethyst mutters before slapping the other gem on the butt, her eyes focused on the cell phone in her hand rather than the person she’s interacting with. It takes a moment for her brain to catch up to what she’s done.
❝Wait a second...❞ Halting her steps, her head whips around to gawk at the owner of the aforementioned butt. Sure, it’s a reflex to flirt with her girlfriend whenever they pass by, be that at home or on the street like right now. But Amethyst knows what her girlfriend’s butt should feel like, and this is not it.
❝You’re not Pearl!❞ Yelling in outrage, she stares at the offending hand of hers and considers chopping it off to erase the evidence. ❝What have I done?! I just cheated on my girlfriend---with her yellow doppelganger!❞
🎀- Does your muse like to accessorize? What are their favorite pieces of accessories?
She loves to accessorize, but mostly when it comes to bows! She’s got bows for every occasion in every colour and has one she can wear for every outfit she owns. Not just hair bows either, but bows for her top, bows that wrap around her leg, her wrist, or bows for her shoes too. Bows everywhere.
She also wears bracelets sometimes, mostly a specific set of bracelets she got from someone last Christmas. But she doesn’t wear bracelets too often because they’re either too tight or too loose and fall down her arms and it annoys her. Hard to find a happy medium with how thin her arms are that still looks good.
💙 shrug emoji
{she already knows who she’d go to to ask questions about dating a rock
hopefully marcy wouldnt find i t annoying}

amarlllo replied to your post “Rika is 24! Or, 23, depending where you’re from.”
[wait how is korea's system different?]
IM GLAD YOU ASKED
In South Korea (idk about North Korea) the way ages work is a little different! So, for example; Rika’s age in the English guidebook is 23, but the book doesn’t specify if that matches the age for the international community, or if that’d be her age in South Korea.
YOU SEE, in South Korea, age is important, apparently, and they have two ways of seeing how old you are. Internationally, there’s the birthday age (counting age by exact month, day, and year) and then there’s the Korean Age.
How Korean Age works (apparently, I looked it up but I am by no means an expert) is that as soon as a baby is born, they turn 1 year old. And after every New Year, regardless of when they were born in the year, they age one more year. So Rika’s birthday is November 3, so if we say she was born in... 1992, for example, she’d be 2 years old in Korean age as of January 2nd. In Birthday age, she’d be a little under two months old.
So if we assume that she’s going by Korean age, then her Birthday age would put her at 22. But if we assume she’s going by her Birthday Age, she’d be 24 in Korean age. The short and skinny of it is; to find your Korean age, tack a year on.
(The main reason Rika would be 23 or 24 in Citta versus 22 or 23 is because she had her birthday here last year -- at least while I was playing her.)
