Hello! 1. Awesome artwork! 2. I feel like I’ve missed something with the whole Avad/Amadis ship? It’s got popularity and I’m lost and want to understand it’s origins, is there a comic or something that started this off? Thank you!

oh my god so uuhh, i guess ill take it up on myself to try to explain!

im in a discord server with a few other horizon peeps, and while we were all going through heavy grief and disbelief over burning blooms/need to know (for obvious reason) foibs half jokingly came up with this counter(?) idea of avad/amadis (cant directly say cuz i only skimmed the older messages) , and some of us realised it could actually WORK so well, which was uh a surprise ! plus pairing off the two annoying men to be with eachother seemed like a lovely idea

a lot of spitballing ensued, especially after my friend sent me this ship ask meme and prompted me to fill it for avad/amadis, and so i did make a short funny comic about it, while some of my other peeps wrote some fic snippets, thats the jist of it basically !
