I think what makes the Band of Brothers action scenes great is there isn't any music playing in them, just the sound of gunfire, of battle, and the camera isn't static, it's shaking and moving and chaotic and it does its job at depicting just how horrorific being a soldier was

I feel like there was no discussion on the cat in Gone Girl.  We should’ve been talking about the cat in Gone Girl.  The cat is all buddy buddy with one and then cozies up to the other one.  And the scene where Nick comes downstairs and sees that Amy has made crepes and she and the cat are just standing there in frame, waiting for him.

PS We should also talk about the crepes.
