Wow guys i got my Amazon melatonin in 5 working days!! That's ridic idk how they did it so fast this time. Makes one wonder if there is an Amazon warehouse here in Auckland now or something? Delivery estimate they gave said it would get here by 2 Sept (tho I feel like Amazon usually delivers sooner than the estimates? but this felt unusually quick for having to go thru airports and whatnot)
That would be great for my melatonin addiction (jokes i use it as prescribed cos i don't wanna fuck around and find out - usually in the form of nightly nightmares)
I know - "Amazon Bad and Wrong" and all that, but desperate times aka melatonin not being funded* at all in New Zealand pharmacies resulting in a $58 price tag (and that's per fortnight depending on prescribed dosage) and seemingly no other local options, plus not a lot of options from overseas (was recommended the Natrol website but that doesn't shop here) outside of Amazon unless you take a gamble on random ones you never heard of found off Google. And getting enough sleep is too important to take that gamble.
So yeah heads up if you are a kiwi/in New Zealand needing melatonin, get it from Amazon not the pharmacies** and not the other dodgy sites (one lost my package and made me have to go off them until I found them on Amazon) and I'm obv not a paid shill or anything (as of yet lol), just a strugglin NZer - unless I'm the worst shill that ever lived 😅
*Afaik they may or may not be funded for children of with autism but I am not a child nor do I hold in my possession an official diagnosis for autism bc yay accessibility issues (aka cost of dx being $1200 or more)
**tho if you are well off then support the pharmacies I guess, tho they make more off of their retail products - which is a difficult situation bc in NZ "drugstore" does not tend to equal affordable so what can ya do considering cozzie livs 🤷♀️ so if you do have the means please do support pharmacies***/keep them local
