/// OK I’m posting this game mostly for it’s nostalgia factor, I played TF out of it as a kid because it was set in Brazil (side note: their depiction of Belem and Manaus is trash). I remember how there was photo tool for cataloguing the flora and fauna and for an educational point-and-click game with 2D graphics, they at least tried to convey a sense of 3D spatiality. There’s a proto-pokemon snap vibe too in terms of collecting animal photos which is cool.

Ok, if you are a millenial, you played these games in school. Were you a bigger fan of Oregon Trail, or Amazon Trail? For overall gameplay, I love the Oregon Trail. Best Part of the Amazon Trail was the photo-taking.

everyone always talks about oregon trail but tbh amazon trail was where it was at.... especially the version i had where you could navigate open water in 3D and go spear fishing
