“Oh Merlin, I do a lot of stupid things but rarely to impress people. I mean, I’m impressive enough as it is, darling. But I guess the time I went out and bought twelve purple shirts because this girl I liked told me it was her favorite color....and then she came in with her boyfriend. That was pretty stupid. And it was definitely all for naught. Well, maybe not entirely. We hooked up a few times but that was after they broke up.”
