happy ffwf, amy!!! what's a theme behind a fic of yours that means a lot to you? why? -ambivalentmarvel
happy ffwf @ambivalentmarvel!! the temptation for me to answer with detailed discussion of every one of my character-centric fics is very strong 😂 but i will spare y'all that! a theme that occurs in a lot of my fics, actually, is the idea of a second chance. it's in meeting mai, it's in Sigh No More, it's in There's a Fine, Fine Line, it's in broken pieces still belong, it's in veritas, it's in my upcoming flash 5+1 - y'all get the point, lmao. that theme is important to me because i am a firm believer in second chances, that humans are not inherently wicked, that we can do better even after behaving cruelly or participating in negative cycles. the message of a second chance provides hope while still being realistic; putting in work is required, after all. but it also demonstrates the innate goodness of humanity, because humans want to offer second chances. we want to believe people can be better. as such, i can't deny i enjoy writing stories where people have that chance to prove themselves 💛
i’m cheating the system here’s two roses for two lines 🌹 🌹 -ambivalentmarvel
from let me be your hero
The first is: Tony falls in love easily.
Easier than breathing. Almost. No. Easier than creating something with wires and gears and lines of code, because that’s the easiest thing in the world for Tony.
send me a rose!
happy ffwf! how would you describe your writing style and what parts of it do you like most? -ambivalentmarvel
happy ffwf!! in complete honesty, I have no idea how I would describe my writing style. I would like to say that I have a good understanding of the characters and their motives and stuff?? yep that’s what we’re going with aldkjfajs

ryland grace better than me fr if at the end of my fucking school day someone came into my classroom (bc why the FUCK would admin let a random person in there) and brought up something that pissed me off several years ago (after probably also being pissed off by 1-2 specific periods. probably at the end of the day.) AND asked me to work another job. you’d see me on the news. eva stratt is very beautiful but not even that could save her.
