So today I braved my emotions and visited the BC bookstore. It felt weird at first, but then word traveled that I was there, and then everyone came up to hug me and say hi. I felt pretty good about myself by the end of it. I got some gossip, heard about how upset everyone was about all the layoffs (and the way in which they happened, although at least all the others had some warning after I went), and I finally got to talk about finishing a couple tv shows with the girl I spent months trying to befriend. Plus I got the car decal I'd been meaning to buy for almost a year.
And then I had dinner with my darling Jaclyn and we saw Wolf of Wall Street. It was so vulgar, and yet so fantastic. I don't know which is better (or destructive) for the internet: Leo losing the Oscar, or Leo actually winning the Oscar. But he should win.
I'm not even too bothered by the parking ticket I got for running past the meter time.
