the domino effect on how I created my OCs & the story is crazy when I think abt it

- little me finding ItsFunneh, a Minecraft-Roblox Youtuber

- Funneh has this thing called KrewReacts, where she and her siblings would react to fanwork

- that gives little me the boost to create an art account and post (extremely beginner artist) fanart

- in that fandom, I meet many fellow fans and follow more cool artists who are up to date with anime

- which how I found FKBU, Daiharu being one of the foundations for CyLuka's dynamic

- I'd also watch a ton of MMD videos of Funneh & Krew. and there was this specific video that had the song Candy Store from Heathers The Musical

- that leads to me being interested in the 4 modern musicals (Hamilton, Heathers, Be More Chill, Dear Evan Hansen) that naturally leads me to loving animatics

- later on, school friends were talking a lot about DSMP

- since I heard that DSMP had references to Hamilton & Undertale(which my bro had me play) so I decide to check out DSMP for myself (at the time it was chill)

- [pause on this for a moment to talk abt Ariieya Senpie's BBB Fang MV for Yobanashi Deceive]

- [I got into Kagepro and I liked the themes of grief & hope & tragedy & found family]

- [which I have to admit were similar to my own interpretation of DSMP's themes]

- [that kickstarts my own themes of grief & hope & found family for my own OCs]

- there was this time where the DSMP fandom was obsessed with vigilante/superhero AUs

- so I had my own AU too. the c!Wilbur of the AU became my base for Cyrus. the c!Eret of the AU became my base for Luka. the c!Tommy of the AU became my foundation for Badar (Cyrus's brother)

- ...yea

- I also had elements of SPYxFAMILY & Ace Attorney & MLP:FiM in the AU (won't elaborate lmao)

- around the same time, I started playing Honkai Impact because of Will Stetson's TruE cover

- in lore, the families of Schicksal was the inspiration for worldbuilding. the clones inspired the creation of another character named Rinne

- Durarita also became an inspiration for CyLuka

- MEANWHILE

- Kaguya-sama - Love Is War: The First Kiss Never Ends was going to local theatres

- so my brother had me watch the last 2 episodes of the Dual Confessions arc before watching the movie

- I liked them & the movie so I binge read the manga. Hayasaka helped fuel my characterisation of Luka

- since there was the announcement of an Oshi No Ko anime coming out, I binge read that manga too

- (due to mpreg jokes going around in high school, I drew Cyrus as Ai holding the just-born twins, which is how Subaru was created)

- and the rest is history
