The tiny #fishing #boat that brought me from #Colombia to the #Panama frontier. There are no roads through the Darién Gap. After waiting a week in an isolated village the second boat of my journey finally left with only two people. The man you see sitting down, Justino, is actually the #captain. He is no longer able to make the trips on his own, because he is almost blind. The two fought most of the time about directions and we were boarded by the #Panamanian #police at one point looking for drugs. Justino gave them a loaf of bread instead. 8 hours later, we made it.
