A determined look set upon her face. "Well I do get the lux’ry so I might as well,” she started, rummaging through her bag, the handle sliding down her shoulder. Her eyes brightened when she found a small bottle of lotion. “If you can’t carry it, I’ll do it for ya!” Of course for this to work, she’d have to trail you around constantly… She popped open the cap, slathering some on her hand. “Now get ovuh here!”

The smile on Jack's face only brightened at her offer, his features lighting up in excitement. He really hadn't expected so much generosity, but he really did appreciate it, especially since she was so nice about it too. Note to self: return the favor on a later date. 

"Aw, thanks! Really appreciate it!" The taller man quickly responded, stepping a bit closer so the blond could reach with ease. As he leaned in, he used a free hand to take off his band-aid, his nose momentarily scrunching so he could adjust to the foreign feeling without it. Once he was prepared, he released a small laugh. "A'ight, I'm ready, sheila!"

"Léooooooooo," the whine was accompanied by a low rumble of her stomach. "I'm hungry." She let her cheek slide across the table, narrowing her eyes. She obviously fishing for you to make waffles. "I just might die."

He watched her little dramatic display with an amused smile. “Oh, we wouldn’t want that, would we?” 

Léo was well aware of what the American wanted; nobody could quite resist the thought of a waffle - in his thoughts, at least, but he was going to humour her first. He patted her back in empathy. “I think I have some apples somewhere —”.

     Blue eyes turned up as a shadow loomed over him. "Was there something you needed... Miss?"

"Now 'whut's that band-aid there for?" Amelia questioned, a heavy twang dripping from each word she spoke. She wrinkled her nose, leaning forward to get a better look. "You hurt or somethin'? Lawdy, I ain't never seen you with anything but. You must get hurt an awful lot, huh?"

The taller figure only blinked for a moment, surprised partially by the female’s abrupt boldness; even still, he doesn’t move away, instead remaining perfectly still. With widened olive eyes, he paused for a moment, lips pursed as he considered his options. He wasn’t certain if he should outright tell her…she was curious, certainly, but sometimes it was best to lie.

"…well, ah. I jus’, happen to get a lot of sunburns there. That’s all." Jack responded back, offering a small smile to assure her that, yes, this was totally the answer and there was nothing else to discuss.
