Health: Bumi has flipped and flopped between being the healthiest child (least amount of illnesses) and the most sickly guy in the family. Sadly for him, this seems to be a set pattern, though as of late he has been relatively healthy He has since claimed it is because Korra got the Avatar State unlocked, or that she got to the finals in the Pro Bending Tourny, just to hype her awesomeness up.
it has a bit of a cliche start(well at least if you've read a ton of fic like this) but it gets really good as you read it, and it writes the kids as /kids/
which doesn't really happen in HP fanfiction a lot
As she rushed over to the young girl, Izana removed the shawl which rested on her shoulders and placed it over the young woman. "Come on, wake up!"
The earthbender shivers violently but she does not respond. Her lips quivered and they were turning blue. The warmth from the shawl helped a bit but Chikko felt like her mouth was frozen shut.
The fire-bender flashed a quick smile, leaning over the counter casually. The jewelry shop wasn’t something that she would willing walk into, but… well… things had changed.
"And… Look, I could just really use a job right now. Times are… getting rough, y’know?"
Something that’ll make Ruri blush (out of the very, very short list) would be either making a mistake in front of a large group of people or being reminded of a mistake that she had done. She’s likes coming across as someone who is, in a way, ‘incapable’ of making mistakes, and having that proven wrong can make her as red as a tomato.
Alright, to avoid cluttering everyone's dash, I've responded to all the asks at once!
amicablestateofmind asked you: Nightmares
Inazuma: Her latest nightmare involved her captured by Equalists and coming face-to-mask with Amon, who stole her bending. This was her biggest fear involving the move to Republic City.
Maniitok: His most consistent nightmare is being outed as a bloodbender to his family and summarily disowned from his family and the fortune promised to him.
Akul: He once had an incredibly vivid nightmare, where he found himself lost in a room full of others who looked exactly like him. He could only act and operate exactly like the others.
amicablestateofmind asked you: Memories
Inazuma: Inazuma’s fondest memory is of her family back home, and how they had welcomed her back with open arms after her failure at the Firebending Academy.
Maniitok: Maniitok’s first memory was of his mother’s funeral. It’s still very fuzzy, and there’s no real emotion attached to it, since he was too young to understand its significance at the time.
Akul: Akul’s worst memory was when he first realized that his parents’ affections were completely based on his compliance to their whims and their desire to make him into an RCPD officer.
bravelittlesoldiergirl asked you: Slaughter
None of the Elite Three will take a job that involves killing or harming anyone as a part of its primary objective, though they will fight off anyone who will try and stop them. Akul is the only one (so far) with blood on his hands, having accidentally killed two aggressors while protecting Mei of the Agni Kai’s from an assassination attempt.
askzhuli asked you: Revenge (Inazuma)
Inazuma considers her improvement in firebending the greatest revenge against the instructors of the Firebending Academy. Even though her firebending is still relatively unimpressive, she’s incredibly motivated to improve her bending.
askzhuli asked you: Laugh (Maniitok)
The deep, barking laugh most normally associated with Maniitok is actually just for show. When he laughs uncontrollably… he snorts.
askzhuli asked you: Delirious (Akul)
Akul once believed that all people functioned with the same set of values he does; that the ability to think and perform rationally and without hesitation is the single greatest asset anyone could possess. Soon after joining the Elites, he learned otherwise.
nittygrittyanju asked you: Lies (Manitok)
Maniitok tells people that he’s an orphan in order to keep others from finding out that his father, a kind but weak politician in the Southern Water Tribe is currently in prison, framed by his rivals for embezzling money.
nittygrittyanju asked you: Love (Inazuma)
Inazuma ‘doesn’t have time for love,’ which is only half-true. While she is busy with the Elites and their line of work, she both wants and is afraid of finding someone she feels a connection with, lest she get distracted from her goals of mastering firebending and achieving true financial independence.
nittygrittyanju asked you: Urge (Akul)
Akul sometimes feels the urge to do something spontaneous, something fun and exhilarating. Sometimes with people, who he usually avoids. He’ll squash these urges by hunting for work or meditating until they go away.
