I am Amira, the breadwinner for my family after my father's death. We were forced to flee to the southern part of Gaza after the war intensified. Our home, my university, and my workplace were bombed😢.

For everyone else, I'll keep this as brief as I can. I know this is a fun, silly blog, the kind that people follow to get away from the stress and tragedies of daily life, and I will respect that, but I am urging you to please think of those who don't have the privilege of getting away from the horror around them too, like Amira and her family.
